Today we’d like to introduce you to Meagan Glover. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Meagan was born February 3, 1991, to a woman with a high tolerance for pain. She was a very impatient baby and decided to come into the world without being in a delivery room. Yes, she was born in the hospital parking lot. It sounds odd to many that she was born in a parking lot, but that is what made her different from anyone else. Ever since that day Meagan was destined to be someone unique.
After a few years of working in retail, Meagan decided that she wanted to take everything that she’d learned to start the next step to her career. Searching deeper, she realized that “making things pretty” doesn’t have to be only in the fashion/retail world. Even though she’d been in retail most of her life, she wanted to possess a skill; a skill that will take her into different industries.
Going to The International School of Skin, Nails and Massage Therapy and training to become a licensed nail technician helped her grasp a concept that takes passion and skill. Not only did she complete her training and finish school in six months, but she also furthered her career to become a Certified Advanced Nail Technician.
After Graduation, Meagan was stationed at a local foot spa for two years. It was there where she acquired her Medical Nail Technician Certification and ultimately, gained more experience in the advanced foot care industry.
Meagan opened her own studio suite in January 2022. It has always been a dream of hers since she started in the beauty industry. AllGoodFeet LLC is a salon studio specializing in diabetic-safe, soakless foot care. The goal is the make sure clients learn and understand the importance of how healthy feet will affect overall health and quality of life.
Never would I have imagined being in a career field that is so rewarding! Coming from a fashion/retail background, I learned that it was more to my calling. Yes, I love to help; indeed I love to “make things pretty”. However, it wasn’t until I put everything on hold in my life to truly understand what my calling was.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I didn’t imagine opening a business for myself this year. Of course, it was planned for the near future, but it was time to get out and start a new journey. Upon letting my pre-existing clientele my plans for the new journey, I was scared. One thing that I have learned through my experience is that people want GOOD service. It doesn’t matter the location if you provide an unforgettable experience.
Fear WAS my biggest struggle. We all have our doubts. As for me, I’m a young black woman starting a business. Even though I’ve had plenty of customer service experience, I’ve never run an entire business on my own. Nevertheless, my faith, family, and loyal supporters helped me through this journey, and I will forever be grateful as I continue moving forward.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The purpose of advancing my career into the wellness aspect of the beauty industry is to improve the overall morale of nail care.
The importance of being knowledgeable in proper safety protocols and the conditions of the nails allows everyone an opportunity to live in good health.
As an Advanced/Wellness Nail Technician, I am trained to work successfully in clinical setting to provide cosmetic services to those with special health considerations.
I believe Advanced Nail Technicians and Foot Care specialists are the missing links that medical professionals need to get everyone on the right path to healthy foot care.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Atlanta is small but so big! I am an Atlanta native, and I have seen so many changes over the years. Many people have found that this city is the next “Hollywood” we have so many great projects that come from the city in the entertainment/film industry. What I like best is the networking opportunity. With all the new residents moving to the city, it’s nice to be amongst creatives from all over the world.
The traffic is what I like least! Of course, with new residents, the increase in traffic has changed drastically. Also, I dislike that there is so much homelessness. As we continue to gain more popularity, I feel that homelessness is an issue that we must act upon.
