Hidden Gems: Meet Megan Cadogan of Tiny Sprouts International

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Cadogan.

Hi Megan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Four years ago, I was given the opportunity to work in a private daycare, and that experience revealed my true calling. I discovered how much I love working with children and supporting families by giving them peace of mind. Inspired by that passion, I decided to create my own program and found a wonderful location in Suwanee, GA.

In August 2025, we proudly opened our doors. Our program is designed for families—especially stay-at-home parents—who prefer a short-term childcare option rather than full-day care. We offer a Spanish immersion experience where children learn through a creative, play-based curriculum taught entirely in Spanish.

We currently welcome children ages 2–5 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and we also provide Spanish tutoring for grade school students ages 6–10.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not. Once the program learned that I intended to start my own, I was unexpectedly let go on July 31st—despite having been promised part-time work through December. The termination came as a shock, and I was not at all prepared to launch my program so suddenly. At that point, I hadn’t begun any marketing or taken steps to spread the word. Still, I had no choice but to move forward, and I committed myself fully to making the program a reality. I currently have two students enrolled, but many interested parents did not proceed due to concerns about their child’s social interaction needs.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Tiny Sprouts International was founded from the deep love I hold for all children. Our program offers a short-term preschool experience, four hours each day, designed for families who don’t need full-time childcare. It’s also perfect for stay-at-home parents seeking a “mommy’s morning out” option, giving them valuable time to accomplish tasks while their children learn and grow.

At Tiny Sprouts International, we specialize in teaching Spanish through a creative learning curriculum. What sets us apart is our full Spanish immersion approach—something rarely offered in the Suwanee area. With genuine love and dedication to serving children and their families, our program feels like an extension of the home.

I am proud of the name “Tiny Sprouts International” and our mission “Growing Tiny Minds One Day at a Time” that represents our brand. We welcome children from all backgrounds with care, respect, and joy. Families can choose flexible enrollment options of 2, 3, or 5 days per week, making our program adaptable to their needs.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Running through tall grass looking for chickens and unconditional love from my parents.
