I founded Terrell’s Business & Tax Services, LLC in 2012, but my journey with finances began long before that. In 1998, while still in high school, I was blessed with the opportunity to participate in an apprenticeship program where I worked directly with money and real estate. Even at a young age, God was already exposing me to stewardship, responsibility, and the importance of handling resources with wisdom and integrity. What others may have seen as just a job, I now recognize as the early stirring of a calling.

As the years progressed, the Lord continued to order my steps, allowing me to gain hands-on experience across accounting, finance, and business operations. In obedience to that calling, I launched Terrell’s Business & Tax Services as a way to serve people not just with numbers, but with clarity, excellence, and faith-centered guidance. What began as helping individuals and families during tax season grew into a full-service firm supporting businesses year-round through tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial strategy.

Today, with over 15 years of professional experience, I see this work as stewardship ministry—helping individuals and business owners manage what God has entrusted to them. My mission is to bring order where there has been confusion, peace where there has been financial stress, and wisdom that leads to sustainability and growth. Every step of this journey has been guided by faith, and I remain committed to serving with integrity, excellence, and a heart aligned with God’s purpose.

No, it has not been a smooth road—but it has been a purposeful one. Like many journeys God calls us to, it required faith, endurance, and obedience, especially in seasons where the outcome was not immediately clear.

One of the greatest challenges was learning how to trust God while building, especially during seasons of limited resources, long hours, and wearing multiple hats. There were moments of uncertainty—balancing business growth, professional responsibilities, and personal life—while still striving to operate with excellence and integrity. I also had to navigate the learning curve of entrepreneurship: setting boundaries, saying no when necessary, and understanding that growth often comes through refinement, not comfort.

Another struggle was resisting comparison and remaining faithful to the assignment God gave me. There were seasons where progress felt slow, but God was developing character, discipline, and resilience behind the scenes. I learned that delay does not mean denial—it often means preparation.

Through every challenge, God proved Himself faithful. Each obstacle strengthened my discernment, sharpened my skills, and deepened my dependence on Him. Looking back, I can clearly see that the struggles were not setbacks—they were building blocks, positioning me to serve with wisdom, compassion, and authority today.

Collaboration is a key part of the next season—building strong partnerships that allow us to broaden our reach while maintaining the personalized, high-quality service our clients value.

I am especially looking forward to strengthening our firm’s capacity to serve more business owners and entrepreneurs, offering deeper financial strategy, operational support, and long-term planning. Expansion for me is not about scale alone—it’s about impact. It’s about creating systems, teams, and relationships that allow us to serve more effectively and steward growth wisely.
