Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Francois.
Hi Nadia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to a nurse mother and an entrepreneur father. Both my mother and father reached goals that had never been achieved in their families. So I can truly say I was built for this… I consider myself a lifestyle entrepreneur who has owned and operated businesses in several different industries over the past 2 decades. My passion and main business is beauty. I am a licensed Cosmetologist and Barber. I was a salon owner for over 10 years and have continued to work behind the chair and beyond. In 2012, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I am a business strategist and business coach.
In 2013, I founded Sistars of Empowerment, Inc. a nonprofit organization with a mission to empower women and the youth. In 2017, I began my journey to authorship and have since become a #1 Amazon International Best-Selling Author and Visionary several times. Having to live through a pandemic in 2020, I started my digital media empire, What’s Your Super Power Anthology & TV, LLC. This brand hosts my tv channel, tv show, podcast and magazine. This brand was birthed from my first book project as Visionary Author. God brought so much from a situation that was deadly for many and I am grateful to extend visibility opportunities to kingdom entrepreneurs through this platform.
I have since expanded all of my businesses and look forward to more!! The WYSP brand now includes Power Conversations Magazine & Podcast and is now in season 3 on all major listening platforms. The TV Channel is flourishing on www.exposureplustv.tv. I have achieved more best-selling author rankings as a co-author and as a visionary author. Sistars of Empowerment has empowered women and girls globally!! And finally, Heiress Beauty Lounge now includes Heiress Haircare Systems and Heiress Wellness for the best natural hair care, skincare and wellness products on the market. Through it all, I can say that God is amazing in all He does and always gets the glory for what He does through me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been smooth, it has actually been a very bumpy road with all the obstacles that life brings. I could write a book on those obstacles but what I would say is that the way out of them all was my faith in Jesus Christ. I have endured being a single parent to my four sons, financial struggles, mental health struggles, divorce, physical health struggles, betrayals, abandonement and more but GOD.
