Hi Nasko, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m Atanas Georgiev, but many know me as Nasko. I hail from Eastern Europe, having spent my formative years in Bulgaria during the intriguing 90s. Those times were challenging yet formative. My passion for travel took me across Europe, and I even spent a memorable two years of my youth in North Africa with my family.
Upon returning to Bulgaria, I completed my high school, majoring in accounting and typewriting. My fascination for computers and coding grew, believing deeply in the transformative power of computing. In 2000, my family and I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Eager to continue my education, I enrolled in a community college, graduating in Computer Programming and Operations.
I ventured into entrepreneurship with computer operations and systems and served clients internationally. Later, I delved into the staffing industry, leveraging my tech knowledge to design a CRM system with innovative front-end features. One of my most recent and exciting ventures is PollPapa, a groundbreaking social media polling app. We aim to revolutionize how polls are conducted, aspiring for a transparent and positively impacted world. It’s been a challenging journey with diverse perspectives, but nothing we couldn’t navigate. Staying true to our core values and maintaining impartiality was crucial.
