Today we’d like to introduce you to Nichole Campbell. Them and their team share their story with us below:
The Sisters Social Inc is a nonprofit founded back in 2018 but we really began to grow in 2020 during the pandemic. Back in 2017, Nichole Campbell set out to find a women’s group she could join. A group of women that wouldn’t mind networking and helping each other in business. She couldn’t find any in the CSRA during that time and the ones that she found were based in the larger cities. So, Nichole decided to start her own group. In 2018 The Sisters Social Inc. was born. The Sisters Social Inc, founded by Nichole Campbell consists of a group of women each having their own businesses. It is a nonprofit organization purposed to unite women of different backgrounds, aimed to provide entrepreneurial education, professional networking and community outreach. We began prior to the pandemic but during the pandemic, we saw many new entrepreneurs. It is important because during a time of uncertainty many people weren’t sure if they would have a job to go back to during the pandemic. A lot of people while waiting to return to work decided to start their own businesses whether it was to have an extra added income or income until they could get back to work. So, we decided we would help. All the women in the group have some form of knowledge of running a business. What we do is help women who have no knowledge of where to begin with starting a new business to get them started. We take you from start to finish to get you up and running. Also we participate in community outreach as well. Giving back to others is what we love.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
So far, it has been a smooth road we have had many more women to join us. The only roadblock I ran into was during the beginning of the pandemic was how would I conduct meetings safely so I decided to go fully virtual and during that time we were still able to help other women in business.
As you know, we’re big fans of The Sisters Social Inc. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The Sisters Social Inc. is my love. From a young girl, all I have wanted to do was help others in any way possible. The Blessing in it all is that I have other ladies who saw my dream and thought it not robbery to connect with me. Our goal is to answer those questions you may have about the business. How do I start? What steps do I need to take? Where do I go online for the forms for my business? I always tell those we work with if I don’t have all the answers my sisters do! I think what sets us apart is that we are a sisterhood and the information we offer is free. But not only that we will walk you through the necessary steps to start your business we are there to hold your hand. The thing I am most proud about The Sister’s Social Inc. would be that when we come together as a group the many business ideas that come about. We are able to take your idea and turn it into a business.
What does success mean to you?
Success to me is setting a goal and reaching that goal or accomplishing something you’ve set out to achieve.
