Today we’d like to introduce you to Olabimpe Olaoye
Hi Olabimpe, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Before there was BlinksbyBimp, there was Bimp’s Boutique (2020) which was an online boutique that sold various different accessories such as jewelry, purses, sandals and lashes. After about a year and a half, I won a giveaway from my now mentor and asked her how she began lashing. As it turns out, we had a similar start with the online boutique. Next thing I know, I signed up for my lash class and have been lashing ever since!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Owning a business in the service industry has not been an easy road at all. From trying to perfect my craft to ensuring that my clients had the best experience, it has been a long journey. I am now in my third location within three years so I would say the biggest obstacle has just been starting over several times

BlinksbyBimp, aka BBB is owned by Licensed Esthetician, Olabimpe Olaoye. We have been in the beauty space for 5 years and providing services for 3. They began with lash services but has since expanded to offering facials, eyebrow services and facial waxing as well! What sets us apart is our branding and client connection! We have made it a mission to stand out from others in the industry by being bold and transparent with our clients. Our goal is always to make our clients feel like their best selves and leave feeling better than they came
How do you think about happiness?
Other people’s joy brings me happiness. I think that is why I enjoy my job so much. Seeing people fall in love with themselves again is such a refreshing site to see, especially in a time where the beauty standards are always changing. As someone that battled with low self esteem throughout my high school years, helping people see the beauty that has always been there is an unmatched feeling
