Today we’d like to introduce you to Quiana Butler.
Hi Quiana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Originally from Miami Florida, I was raised by a man who took me in as his own. My biological father was not in my life and he wanted it that way. But that’s another story. But the man who raised me always instilled the entrepreneurship bug in me, He use to make me sell candy bars from Sams Club to neighbors. I hated it!! Not realizing he was setting me up to be the person I am today.
But fast forwarding to about six years ago, I was working 3 jobs, overworked and underpaid, one of the jobs was salaried. I was working from paycheck to paycheck, just getting by. As a single mom, I knew that the way I was living was not my destiny. I also know that I could not continue to live the way I was living. So, I began changing my environments, changing who I hung out with, changing the books I read, changing my events from parties to conferences, and so much more. That’s when my life begins to shift. I knew that I didn’t want to work for anyone anymore.
At this time, I was living in Columbia SC, but God told me to move… so I resigned from my job on June 30th and rented a UHaul the next day on July 1st and I moved to Atlanta to pursue entrepreneurship full-time. I hired a business coach, David Shands, to help me with building my brand and giving me structured business advice. The investment was worth every penny. MajorQui Enterprises LLC was created and now is a well-known brand that has helped thousands of business owners grow and scale their businesses online. I grew my brand to over six figures.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not lol! There were so many struggles and challenges along the way, but there are a few that stood out the most.
The biggest one was gaining a presence in a new city that did not know me and I didn’t know anyone. I had to build relationships and networks. This allowed me to form relationships with people that eventually lead to me meeting their friends. I’ve been able to work with some big names in multiple industries because I took initiative.
Another challenge would be seeing my money invested but no return for months even years. I remember applying for part-time jobs and no one would hire me because I was overqualified. I would often think, what in the world am I going to do when my money run out. But I was introduced to several opportunities, like my travel business for instance, that allowed me to keep consistent income flowing into my household while maintaining my marketing business.
And then the fact that I was a single mom through all of this, living with my sister and her family in the basement of the house just so that I could get stable, was even more pressure for me. But I sustained it all because I know where my Help comes from!
We’ve been impressed with MajorQui Enterprises LLC & QCB Investments LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have 2 brands that incorporate different stems of businesses and streams of income. MajorQui Enterprises is the umbrella for “Social Media Quality Consultants” my all things online marketing business, from website design, logos, funnels, courses building, social media management, and more! The other brand is “Quiana Butler Online Brand Builder” which is my coaching brand where I offer coaching services to assist with brand identity, business structure, entrepreneurial bootcamps, and so much more! I also am a Travel Business Owner, I have helped a lot of people begin their entrepreneurship careers in this industry.
I’m known as the person who lift people up with my daily affirmations and encourages the importance of multiple streams of income and leaving wills and not bills.
What set’s me apart from others is my authenticity and willingness to help. I offer a lot of free training and tools to help grow brands and make additional income. Oh and my bootcamps! Everyone loves them because they are budget friendly and a ton of value is given.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is seeing other people happy, especially if I has something to do with it! I get so much joy knowing that there are people who trusted me enough to teach them a skill to help them level up!
Traveling also makes me happy. There was a point in my life where traveling would be the last thing on my mind… now it’s the first thing on my mind. I really enjoy being able to take my daughter to all the different destinations that I never been myself and explore them together.
What else makes me happy is the fact that I stepped out on FAITH, I betted on ME, and I have BELIEF! It’s part of the reason why I live the life I live. I REALLY make a living by truly LIVING now! I’m forever grateful.
