Quinisha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started building the iModel brand in 212 in Chicago illinois. I began just coordinating photoshoots that quickly grew into coordinating event which somehow lead me to going to esthetics school and becoming a licensed esthetician to now…owning the iModel Beauty Bar. My brand has always been built with integrity and the purpose of helping others elevate in their careers.
I’ve always loved helping people and being a reliable resource for people in the same industry as me. I’ve always been really big on self-educating myself & sharing my knowledge. Being able to help someone along their journey no matter how small my contributions may be makes me feel fulfilled. That’s why when I went to esthetic school I knew I wanted to provide a platform for professionals to have a place of employment have them purpose & opportunity. Not just a location to provide services.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing worth having is ever given easily. However, this is what I have been asking God to bless me with for years so in my mind, I’ll never complain about the imperfections or the “bumpy road” because I’m simply enjoying the journey.
I think of every opportunity as a learning lesson no matter if it’s good or bad. Being optimistic & strong-minded as a business owner is key.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is every weekend my siblings and I would go over to our great grandparents house and meet all of our cousins, aunts & uncles over there and have mini family reunions lol. It was so fun we would play outside all night while the “grown-ups” were in the house playing cards & jamming to loud music all night long! It was a really good time. I can honestly growing up in such a family-oriented environment made me truly grow to appreciate the value or family & time to truly value the small things in life
