Hidden Gems: Meet Rachel Nipp of Bearpaw Partners

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Nipp.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In 2015, I started selling art in Athens, Georgia to University of Georgia students via a Facebook group. From there, I set up an Etsy shop and, since I moved to Atlanta in 2018, have been selling local art. Now, my shop is primarily focused on Atlanta foodie art with a few other Southern city prints as well. I sell online and in three local stores (Crafted, HomeGrown Decatur, and Garage Door Studios).

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
My art is a side hustle, so I’ve been able to experiment while still getting a steady income from my full-time job. I think it would be really difficult to do this without another source of income. I’ve been able to test out new prints, see what sells, and continue to create art I love.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
When I’m not creating art at peachprintdesignco.com, I am a copywriter at an Atlanta ad agency called Bearpaw Partners. We offer full-service digital marketing, and I have a lot of fun writing blogs, social, and ad copy for clients.

What makes you happy?
I love getting to be creative and spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I think connecting with people is incredibly important, whether it’s through art or conversations.
