Hi Ragina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
My name is Ragina Starr. A proud mommy to a four year old baby boy. My son motivated my inner entrepreneur. Rep your sets came to me at the hardest point in my life in 2018. I was a new mom without a job that had a dream. I knew I didn’t want to work for anyone else after trial and error. I finally became an entrepreneur full-time. I started to make press on nails in my closet. I had a walk-in closet that I turned into a craft office. Lol. I was a true hustler and knew this was the beginning to something great. I remember making a vision board and I glued my business card under a photo of Oprah Winfrey for motivation. I knew I was determined to succeed. My business name is not just a name it’s my son and my initials. It’s so unique to my life and it’s speaks volume to exactly what I want to do for my career. We are the one and only! Rep your sets in the nail and beauty industry!
In 2019 before Covid, I started to get more into producing my own products. I create and sell nail decals and other nail supplies. I took a chance on my dream and everyone that ordered from me took a chance on rep your sets. I was not prepared for all the love and support I received! Once I promoted my business on Instagram things took off.
As of today, I am still a one-woman business. I pushed out 20,000 products within two years by myself as a multi-role entrepreneur! I am a superwoman! I truly found my passion! Wow, I can’t believe I started in a walk-in closet to now having a nail suite in Atlanta, GA.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Since I am a one-woman empire, I have had to take on multiple roles and still be human. I definitely had a bumpy road. The core of my business is the production of my nail decals. I had an experience where my printer failed and I couldn’t print. Rip to my college printer. Yes, I had a printer from college that my Dad purchased for me 4 years ago that I used for the first year in my business. I bought about 3 printers in 2-week span trying to replace it. Every printer I tested wasn’t better than my college printer. So I prayed and replugged in my college printer and behold it worked again for about 5months. This was just enough time for me to find my high quality production photo printer I have now.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I believe the nail industry will only get bigger. I definitely can see the nail industry booming even more in the next 5-10 years. Rep your sets will be one of the brands that will be standing strong. We are the goat of custom nail decals and we keep trendy nail supplies. I see nails changing in styles and themes, but the great thing is Rep your sets stays on trend with our creative themed nail decals. One of our goals is for Rep your sets to expand to hiring and to being apart of the nail salon industry. Rep your sets will have more products added. Rep your sets products will be available in stores. I plan on working with more brands and expanding to be known worldwide.
