Hi Randall, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Classic INTOWN Barbershop & MEN Spa, Since 1992, is a FIVE STAR Google business; our first location was in Castleberry Hill-we are now located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, at 75 Marietta St NW, just a city block away from State Farm Arena and Mercedes Benz Stadium. Over the years (we began life as a salon/barbershop/day spa) our core competency has become men’s personal care services and products, and we take great pride in providing exemplary customer service to our valued clientele.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Alas, there are always challenges in business, particularly during the COVID crisis- in its aftermath we lost a large number of regular customers as a result of the new normal of working from home, as well as the decreased number business travelers; a significant portion of our business always came from downtown hotels and conventions.

Classic INTOWN Barbershop & MEN Spa is a FIVE*****STAR Google business that specializes in MEN personal care services and products. We are a classic barbershop, providing professional classic cuts, close shaves and other services, as well as our signature line of personal care products-CLASSIC INTOWN-for SKIN, HAIR and SHAVING, since 1992. We recently added a men spa-for manicures, pedicures, reflexology, CMT services, deep cleansing facials and more- to compliment the overall personal care experience for our clientele. We take our business seriously- we are in growth mode-our downtown ATL location is our flagship shop; we hope to partner with a boutique hotel brand in the near future for national/ international co-branding opportunities. We also offer 24/7 premium services for hotel guests and conventioneers for their convenience.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The personal care industry for men is definitely growing-the modern 21st century man is not shying away from pampering himself; a pro haircut, hot shave, facial, manicure and pedicure is quickly becoming the standard care protocol of the discriminating man’s grooming regimen.
