My journey in the US began in 2015 as an international student. As you can imagine, it was a challenging path.
I had an accent that could cut butter, and chasing job offers in the real estate jungle felt like playing hide and seek with a ghost. But hey, I’m not one to back down. I navigated the complexities of the U.S. market like a tourist with a map: confused but determined.
And then, it finally happened. Lorett Vigon, the real estate fairy godmother, swoops in. Not only does she find me the apartment I’ve been living in for close to a decade now, but she also throws in a job offer for good measure. I know – If that’s not a plot twist, I don’t know what is.
Under Lorett’s mentorship, I spread my wings. Armed with an architecture background (I am, after all, an Architect) and an artsy streak, I bring flair to real estate. Think of me as the cupid of property matches, mixing in a dose of trust and transparency. You’ve got questions, I’ve got answers – and a few quirky jokes to keep things interesting.
However, my frustrations with the real estate industry’s lack of transparency led me to create something entirely new: Replay Listings. This platform revolutionizes property listings by demanding complete accuracy and specificity. My belief in the transformative power of technology fueled this innovation. The platform’s success, validated by positive feedback from agents and renters alike, is a testament to the demand for trustworthy and transparent property information.
Leveraging technological advancements, Replay Listings introduces unedited property videos, providing a genuine view for potential renters. Our future plans involve expanding these capabilities, potentially incorporating augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) features. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth? I wish! As an international student, I felt like Indiana Jones trying to land a gig.
To add to that, NYC’s real estate was like a puzzle back then. A maze on steroids, with brokers charging the equivalent of up to 1.8 months of the value of your rent as a broker fee. It was tough.
But here’s the kicker – those struggles became my secret ingredients. They brewed resilience, innovation, and a dash of humor. The journey’s been a wild ride from apartment hunter to real estate disruptor.

Absolutely, the COVID-19 crisis has been a masterclass in adaptability. It underscored the importance of technology in connecting and sustaining businesses. For Replay Listings, it was a pivotal moment with ups and downs. We’ve experienced it all: We had all industry titans calling us because we had over 10,000 video tours of available apartments in New York – something no one else had. Then, they ignored us, as they realized agents had to go and take the videos in a world in which no one was allowed to step out of their property for security measures. It was WILD.
This crisis reaffirmed the power of innovation in overcoming even the most unexpected challenges.
