Today we’d like to introduce you to Stefani Silverman.
Hi Stefani, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and studied at Indiana University. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit—though in my early years, I didn’t quite have the courage to take the leap. During a summer internship in Los Angeles, I came close to dropping out of college after being offered a dream job. Thankfully, with a little guidance from my counselor, I returned to school—but that experience sparked my appetite for opportunity and adventure.
After graduation, I pivoted from my initial nursing major and accepted a position helping launch early web and video conferencing technology. It was an exciting time to be part of something so innovative, and living in the heart of downtown Chicago surrounded by ambitious professionals was a thrill. Before long, I was offered an Outside Sales opportunity with the same company and made the move to Atlanta.
After nearly seven years, I decided to explore medical sales and accepted a pharmaceutical role calling on dermatologists throughout Georgia. That experience opened my eyes to the booming world of skincare and medical aesthetics, and I was instantly captivated. I transitioned into aesthetic sales and joined Allergan, followed by leadership roles with Stratpharma, HydraFacial, and Geneo (a Lumenis company). Those years cemented my passion for skin health—and, even more, for supporting aestheticians and medspa owners in growing their businesses.
I’ve learned so much from the incredible people I’ve worked alongside—my teams, my clients, and the visionaries constantly bringing new innovation to this industry.
Fast forward to 2024: over lunch with my friend Eldar, I shared an idea that had been on my mind—to fuse fashion and skincare into one seamless experience creating something truly fresh for our community. As fate would have it, Eldar was preparing to open a fashion boutique, and she immediately saw the potential.
And just like that—BASE Fashion + Facial Bar was born.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been bumpy for sure. As new business owners launching a brand-new concept in a brand-new space, it’s been a masterclass in learning, adapting, and persevering. Every challenge pushed us to think bigger, stay creative, and keep our eyes on the vision.

BASE Fashion + Facial Bar is a fresh concept fusing fashion and skincare into an open floor concept. Our vision was to create an experiential studio where people could indulge in self-care, explore our modern Skin Bar, shop curated apparel and jewelry, and experience exceptional service from start to finish.
Over the course of a year, we carefully sourced and tested every skincare product, facial technique and apparel item to ensure everything we offer meets the highest standards of quality and integrity. We wanted every piece—whether it’s a serum or a silk blouse—to be something we could stand behind.
As mothers, we also wanted to create something inclusive and meaningful for younger generations. That’s why we introduced a clean skincare line designed specifically for pre-teens and teens, encouraging healthy habits and confidence from an early age.
We’re incredibly proud to see our vision come to life and deeply grateful for the support of our community. Our hope is that BASE becomes more than just a studio—it’s a space to pause, reset, and reconnect. A place to forget your troubles, feel empowered in the skin you’re in, and leave glowing from the inside out.
How do you think about happiness?
Quality time with family and good people makes me the happiest. I also enjoy playing tennis, exploring new places around the city and love catching live music.
