Hi Sunna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey into the medical aesthetics industry wasn’t traditional, but it was deeply personal. In September 2023, my father passed away unexpectedly, leaving me searching for a path to healing. Before his passing, my husband and I had been exploring business opportunities—something my father was especially excited about for me.

In March 2024, our son was accepted into a school in Johns Creek. Living in Roswell and facing a 30-minute one-way commute, I decided to look for a business closer to his school. On a whim, I Googled ‘businesses for sale in Johns Creek’ and came across SAHA Med Spa, formerly Beauty Skin Laser. The location was ideal, the hours fit seamlessly with our family life, and I saw incredible potential in what this business could become.

With a background in sales, I’ve always been passionate about customer experience and helping people feel their best. Taking over SAHA was the perfect way to merge that passion with a growing industry centered on confidence and self-care. Since then, I’ve focused on refining our services, curating high-quality skincare, and building a team that shares my vision for excellence. It’s been an exciting journey, and I look forward to continuing to grow SAHA into a premier destination for skin health and aesthetics.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t always been smooth! Early on, we faced some unexpected challenges—water damage in part of the spa that required replacing the floors, a system crash that caused us to almost lose our entire client base, and a few machines that needed immediate maintenance.

In addition to these challenges, I’m currently running the front desk myself while we continue searching for the right team member. Balancing client care, operations, and business growth has been tough but rewarding. On top of that, with both my husband and I running our own businesses, juggling everything without extra help has been a real challenge. Being a full-time mom while managing it all keeps me on my toes every day.

Despite all of these obstacles, each challenge has been a learning experience. They’ve pushed me to be more adaptable, quick-thinking, and focused on building a strong, reliable team. Looking back, I’m proud of how far SAHA has come, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
SAHA Med Spa is a luxurious destination for skin health and aesthetic treatments located in the heart of Johns Creek, Georgia. In Arabic, “SAHA” means health and wellness, which is the foundation of our mission at SAHA Med Spa. We are dedicated to promoting the health and wellness of your skin through personalized care and transformative treatments. Our services range from injectables and fillers to advanced skin rejuvenation and laser therapies—all designed to enhance both the appearance and confidence of our clients.

What sets SAHA apart is our focus on results-driven treatments and high-quality, medical-grade skincare products. We specialize in creating individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals, ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors feels cared for and valued. We’re known for providing a luxurious, relaxing experience while delivering noticeable, lasting results.

One of the things I’m most proud of is how we’ve taken the previous spa’s 3.6-star Google rating to 4.6 stars in just eight months. This remarkable shift speaks to our commitment to providing top-tier customer service and creating an exceptional experience for every client, whether they’re coming in to remove a tattoo or tighten skin after significant weight loss.

I want readers to know that SAHA isn’t just about looking good—it’s about feeling your best and taking care of your skin for the long term. We believe that skin health is a key component of overall wellness, and we are dedicated to helping our clients achieve their skin goals in a welcoming, professional, and results-oriented environment.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The medical aesthetics industry has seen tremendous growth over the past few years, and I expect this to continue over the next 5-10 years. One of the biggest trends I see is a shift towards non-invasive, results-driven treatments. Clients are increasingly looking for ways to enhance their appearance without the need for surgery, and technology is evolving to meet this demand with more advanced, minimally invasive treatments that offer quicker recovery times and longer-lasting results.

Additionally, with the increasing demand for holistic and natural beauty, we’ll likely see more focus on treatments that not only improve appearance but also nourish the skin at a deeper level, incorporating a blend of science and nature in skincare routines. At SAHA, we believe that great skincare starts with a healthy diet. Nourishing your skin from the inside out is just as important as the treatments and products you use on the surface.

Lastly, I believe the industry will continue to be shaped by the increasing role of social media and digital influence. People are more connected than ever and are sharing their experiences and results on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, which will continue to drive trends and customer education.
