Hi TaMisha , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey into fashion started on the luxury retail side, working with brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Vertigo Paris, where I developed a deep understanding of styling, client experience, and the power of elevated presentation. That foundation taught me how luxury brands think, sell, and build desire.

From there, I transitioned into the wholesale fashion industry as a showroom manager and accessories buyer at AmericasMart ATL. That’s where everything clicked. I spent years forecasting accessory trends, sourcing collections, merchandising jewelry, and working directly with designers, manufacturers, and boutique owners. I saw firsthand how accessories weren’t just add-ons—they were the highest-margin, fastest-moving pieces in a fashion business.

As my career evolved, I began providing accessories for celebrity photo shoots, television productions, and editorial features, while also serving as an accessories editor and consultant. But what truly shifted my path was realizing how many fashion entrepreneurs—especially women—were missing access to this insider knowledge.

That realization led to the creation of FABuulous CHIKKS, which evolved from a fashion blog into a full brand ecosystem. Today, through CHIKK University, digital products, consulting, and education, I teach boutique CEOs and creatives how to turn accessories into strategy, authority, and income. My mission is simple: to show women how baubles make bank and how style—when backed by knowledge—can build profitable, lasting brands.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey has definitely had its share of challenges, from navigating luxury retail to breaking into the wholesale fashion world. Every struggle taught me how to show up smarter and more strategic.
Those lessons are exactly what shaped FABuulous CHIKKS into the brand that helps women turn style into strategy- passion into profit.

Well I have a few things in the works, one of them is my CHIKKS in the City Summits.

These events bring together boutique owners, stylists, and fashion entrepreneurs to network, gain actionable strategies, and stay ahead of trends. It’s all about building community, collaboration, and confidence—showing that success in fashion isn’t just about what you wear, it’s about who you surround yourself with and the knowledge you carry.
