Tammy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Since the age of 15 years old I was told that I would never be able to have children. At age 36, I found myself pregnant with my daughter. I knew then that I wanted to protect her as much as possible and I wasn’t a fan of the vaccine schedule, so I started looking for other ways to keep her safe. Halotherapy, or Salt Cave Therapy was the first treatment that I investigated in order to keep her safe from RSV, Croup and Ear Infections. A year and a half later, I, by some miracle, found myself pregnant again with my son. From then on, I found myself going down rabbit holes and trying to help as many people as possible. He was able to need 2 haircuts, even through conventional treatments, and we were able to rid his body of the cancer cells. I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Our clients have been great, however, getting the word out and educating the public on the possibilities has been a tough road.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Wellness Oasis takes multiple symptoms and looks to identify a root cause, which will ultimately help the client to heal and not simply mask symptoms. The care we take with each client and the time that we invest to really get to know each individual allows us to see solutions quickly and fit the clients with treatments that they truly benefit from. Our clients are more than a checklist, they quickly become our friends. We are thrilled to say that Cherokee County’s Fire Marshall was not allowing hyperbaric chambers into the county, until we went to the State’s Fire Marshall, and proved their safety record and their effectiveness! Now, only American-made chambers are allowed in Cherokee County, saving our public from Chinese-made chambers which have been known to have harmful off gas-ing of forever chemicals. This year alone, we have saved a lady’s foot from being amputated by helping her to grow a scar in 2 weeks when her traditional medical team had been unable to get one to grow for the past 6 months. We have had a 17-year-old recover from a huge concussion that affected both lobes of the brain, allowing him to return to school, driving, and his everyday life. We have also witnessed 2 non-verbal autistic children tell their moms, “I love you” for the first time. Stroke and cancer victims are really amazing to chart their progress using the chamber as well. She is a skilled TMJ therapist as well and you will leave her table feeling better than you ever have! Kelsie is so very talented and knowledgeable! Her specialties include hot salt stone, neuromuscular, deep tissue, prenatal, postpartum, reflexology, cupping and TMJ massage!
Our Infrared Sauna allows clients to choose from 8 different programs, depending on their needs. Cardio, pain relief, detox, relaxation, weight loss, anti-aging, heart health and a HOT program. What are your plans for the future?
We are so excited to be adding a gym to our facility in 2026 and to be able to offer personal training, Pilates, yoga, and nutritional counseling, along with meal-prep services. The left side of our building will see an addition of an outdoor kitchen, where we will be hosting grilling and meat-smoking classes, along with a small stage for local entertainment and music lessons. Along with our inside teaching kitchen which is already being utilized, we are thrilled to see our facility further utilized as a gathering, learning and healing center for our community,
