Hidden Gems: Meet Teresa “MiZZ Entertainment” Edwards of Terror Dome Entertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to Teresa “MiZZ Entertainment” Edwards.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up as an only child to a single mother, I had to learn how to entertain myself. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Then we moved to a very rural area in central Florida until about middle school age when we moved to Miami, Florida. Growing up in these extremely different areas afforded me the opportunity to embrace and enjoy an array of eclectic types of entertainment. From enjoying watching Heidi starring Shirley Temple to writing books to going to a BDM concert and everything in between. And because of my passion for different forms of entertainment, I am the co-CEO of Terror Dome Entertainment, author, producer, actor, director, music consultant just to name a few.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey has not been a bed of roses. I’ve had to endure extreme poverty, abuse, racism, and abandonment. But through all these adversities to quote Maya Angelou, “Still I Rise.”

We’ve been impressed with Terror Dome Entertainment, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the co-CEO and founder of Terror Dome Entertainment company. My husband and I founded this company because of our love and passion for entertainment. We are an “All Things Entertainment” company. We take the fear out of dreaming and turn it into a reality. We provide video, audio, DJ’ing services and more. We offer a full recording studio, podcasting, and a photography area services. What sets us apart from others is that our clients become part of our family. You are not just an invoice. You become a partner.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along this journey is that it’s okay if everyone doesn’t support or take the journey with me. Just keep moving forward. Don’t let others distract from what’s destined for me.
