Today we’d like to introduce you to Yoni Havana.
Hi Yoni, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I didn’t plan to become a Transformational Mentor & Spiritual Guide. In 2018, I went to Peru seeking a deeper sense of what life means. I was curious, a bit skeptical, and very much identifying as agnostic after years of calling myself an atheist. I was a few months away from becoming a father, and I wanted to understand the nature of reality. While in Peru, I experienced what I can only call a meeting with the Divine — within me and all around me. That moment opened a door I’ve never closed. It changed my relationship with life, with people, and with purpose.
A year later, real life brought its own rites of passage. My wife went through a perfect storm of postpartum depression during the isolation of COVID, while navigating a history of Crohn’s Disease, hormone shifts, and the shock of a new rhythm at home. I also suffered a rib injury in early 2020 that took a long time to heal. Those two years were a “dark night” season for our family, and a deep education for me. I learned how healing the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual bodies is not theoretical; it’s daily work. I studied, practiced, and sought out mentors. I watched my wife come alive again through her own awakening, meditation, trauma processing, and nervous-system healing.
I’ve always been drawn to holistic living (I resolved my childhood asthma with simple, natural approaches), but that era showed me something deeper: much of our pain is ancestral and stored in the body. With willingness, guidance, and a lot of humility, I began clearing my own patterns, and saw ripples of relief in my family. That’s when the calling landed. I started walking alongside others — men and women, couples and families — helping them unwind old cycles, return to themselves, and rebuild connection at home.
Today, I run a private practice here in Georgia (and I often travel to clients), offering ongoing guidance and multi-day “Deep-Dive Reset” immersions. I also co-lead a spiritual nonprofit, Universal Awareness Fellowship (UAF), which guides people through rites of passage, healing modalities, and long-term integration. Whether it’s one-on-one work or community retreats, my aim is the same: help people feel lighter, more present, and deeply connected. At home in their body, in their relationships, and in their life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not smooth, but meaningful. Early on, I had to learn first-hand what I now share with clients: sit with discomfort, keep my heart open, and take one honest step at a time. I still practice this work daily, but it flows more easily now — my nervous system is steadier, my mind is clearer, and I’ve released many old attachments and traumas.
Supporting my wife through her experience was also humbling. I couldn’t fix it, and I had to learn to be present without control — to listen, create safety, and trust the process. My rib injury asked for the same medicine. I slowed down, met pain with patience, and let my body teach me. Those experiences made me a better husband, father, and guide. They taught me that healing doesn’t happen over a weekend, but it’s instead a life-long re-patterning of how we relate to life, our bodies, and each other.
Professionally, the challenge was in the integration — turning peak spiritual moments into steady, embodied living. I’ve invested years in somatic work, breath, meditation, and mentorship (and I still do, every day). I learned to balance the sacred and the practical: with nervous-system science, presence with discipline, and deep release with daily routines. Building a practice that protects client privacy while offering high-touch support also took time.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
What I do: I help people release what’s heavy and live what’s true. In practical terms, that looks like two offerings:
Ongoing Guidance — weekly or bi-weekly 60–90 min sessions (in Woodstock, GA or online via Zoom). I listen deeply, work somatically with the nervous system, and create simple, aligned action plans that people can stick to.
Deep-Dive Reset — a 3–5 day private immersion (in a retreat space or your home). I combine daily mentoring, emotional clearing, somatic work, breath, lifestyle alignment (sleep, hydration, nutrition, nature), and a full-day Soul Alignment Intensive, followed by integration support so changes last.
Who I serve:
Men, women, couples, and families. I’m known for men’s work (I co-founded Men of Integrity under UAF), for relational/family healing, and for helping high-performing people who feel restless, even after success, come home to find peace, presence, and purpose.
What sets this apart:
– Body + Spirit, together. I use practical body-based tools to help you feel calm and clear, paired with spiritual alignment that stays grounded.
– High-touch and personal. High-touch, private sessions, where I often travel to clients for deeper work and real-life integration.
– For real relationships. We strengthen connection with partners, kids, and family — not just individual change.
– Change that sticks. We turn insights into simple daily rhythms your body can trust so the shifts last.
– Lived practice. I keep learning with peers and mentors and I’m trained and certified through the CHEK Institute. My work is rooted in daily practice and years of mentorship with Dr. Aubrey Degnan (clinical psychologist and spiritual teacher), plus teachings from Ram Dass and Michael Singer.
What I’m proud of brand-wise:
The simplicity and integrity. “Your life doesn’t need another bandaid. It needs an awakening to your deeper truth.” That’s my North Star. Clients consistently reflect that they feel deeply seen, safe, and steady — and that the changes last. I’m also proud of UAF’s community pathway — Prepare → Transform → Sustain — where rites of passage and long-term integration help people reduce anxiety, break addictive cycles, and restore families. I often hear stories like “Dad quit drinking and now coaches his kid’s team again.”
For VoyageATL readers:
If you’re successful on paper but restless inside… if you’re carrying tension you can’t shake… if your home could use more honesty, softness, and presence—this work meets you there. Start with a low-pressure conversation; there’s a simple application on my site, and we’ll find the right cadence together.
What’s next?
A few things I’m excited about: – More Atlanta-area support. I’m based in Woodstock and opening additional time for local clients and private Deep-Dive Resets.
– On-site immersions. I’m expanding travel for in-home Deep-Dive Resets for clients who prefer privacy and convenience
– Deeper relational work. I’m dedicating more capacity to couples and families to restore honesty, safety, and connection at home.
– Continual growth. I’m always learning — studying with peers and mentors, exploring new modalities and trainings, and applying what’s most effective in real life.
– Increasing access through donor support. Through UAF, we’re offering donor-supported financial assistance for people ready to do the work but needing help with costs.
