LBC Tresses was built from a lifelong connection to hair and beauty. I grew up in the salon, watching my mom work as a hairstylist and learning early on what it
meant to care for hair with intention, precision, and pride. From a young age, I always knew I would be a hairstylist. By middle school, I was already doing my classmates’ hair and earning money from it. What started as something I genuinely loved naturally grew into a profession. Over time, I continued to refine my skills and found my niche specializing in sew-ins and luxury natural hair services.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in several salon settings, gaining experience not just behind the chair, but also in understanding clients, professionalism, and how important a consistent, elevated experience really is. After 12 years, I realized I wanted more control over my brand and the environment I was creating for the women who sit in my chair.
Today, LBC Tresses reflects that vision. It’s a luxury hair experience rooted in healthy hair practices, attention to detail, and education. My focus is on providing a positive, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable, confident, and truly cared for, while still delivering beautiful results that support long-term hair health.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey has not been a smooth road, and one of my biggest challenges was learning how important alignment truly is. I spent time in environments that did not fully support my growth, values, or long-term vision, which pushed me to reflect on what I needed not just as a stylist, but as a business owner.
Those experiences taught me the importance of boundaries, self-trust, and advocating for myself, even when it feels uncomfortable. While challenging, that period ultimately gave me clarity and confidence, and it played a major role in my decision to create a space that prioritizes professionalism, peace, and positive energy for both myself and my clients.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is learning how to ride a bike. I remember trying over and over again, falling, getting back up, and not quite getting it at first. When I finally figured it out, I felt so proud and happy, and it’s a feeling that has stayed with me. I enjoy putting in the work and seeing the results come to life, and that experience still reflects how I approach life and my career today.
