Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Dent.
Hi Tony, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Kristian and I noticed a CBD American Shaman store in Cobb County and decided to walk in for a visit. Inside we spoke with the owner and he informed us that they are still franchising. With Kristian Dent having a Master’s Degree in Interior Design and me having extensive sales experience, we knew we could provide a wonderful customer experience. After we learned more about the opportunity, we decided that we wanted to share the healing potential of cannabis. My 91-year-old grandmother, our parents and even our pets use CBD since we opened our doors on December 14th, 2020.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to opening a new business is never easy. The biggest hurdle for us is the unexpected terrain that comes with a new industry. Many people think CBD will get you “high,” but that is the furthest thing from the truth. Our primary task is to provide useful information in a safe and comfortable environment.
We’ve been impressed with CBD American Shaman Vinings, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

What are your plans for the future?
We are looking forward to furthering our work as cannabis advocates. There is a lot of stigma with the plant and a lot of misinformation out there. We want to work hard to correct the narrative and be socially responsible citizens to those in the legacy market. Additionally, we want to guide other business owners who want to open a CBD store in their community.
