Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The Entrepreneurial road has been a lonely and emancipating one. My vision and journey to creating sustainable delivery methods has been slow, intentional yet persevering. I have been blessed with many opportunities to advance my endeavors, such as this one. With the support of mentors and close associates, my obstacles in business have been hurdled. Due to the pandemic, our business sector has benefited tremendously.
Some of my most recent challenges in the past year include;

* Overwhelming demand in delivery requests.
We’re known for introducing digital shoppers to a new way of gift giving and same day retail return service. We utilize electric vehicles to deliver apparel & accessories to local consumers within a 15-mile radius of metro Atlanta. This is our market niche which sets us apart from the plethora of emerging delivery companies. Our core goals include helping urban retail boutiques enhance the customer experience to their local customers.
I am most proud of the network of drivers we have sourced that gives emerging brands the same-day delivery service that has traditionally only been available to the likes of Amazon.
Dapper Direct services are now available at a growing list of select retailers including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Sephora, as well as Urban Outfitters and continue to expand in the Metropolitan area. Recently honored as a Comcast Rise recipient for their multi-year commitment to support small, independent businesses. Dapper Direct currently serves the Metropolitan area and is continuing to expand its reach and service options.
We have an eco-friendly agenda & with the support of our local communities, we can reduce our carbon footprint as consumers. Now with a Dapper Direct fashion is, “Wear ever you Go!”
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
As B2C e-commerce continues to shape retail, store owners will need to identify new ways to engage with consumers, who were once provided an in-store experience. Additionally, as consumers continue to move toward e-commerce shopping for their retail purchases, the gifts they purchase for others will become less personalized, arriving at the recipient’s doors, presented in brown boxes. In the near future, Dapper Direct will seek to offer eco-friendly delivery packaging and extend the in-person retail experience that will make purchasing for others more unique, all by offering, same-day, carbonless deliveries through our fully electric vehicle fleet.
Our goal is to create an e-commerce platform that unites all the independent retail brands together. We want to help urban retail boutiques enhance the customer experience for their local customers & also introduce digital shoppers to a new way of gift giving.
