Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Bryant.
Hi Ashley, thanks for joining us today. Tell us about your story, how did you start your business?
Four years ago, my husband was working in Afghanistan and he would only get to come home twice a year. Well, one particular year (2019), instead of coming home for my birthday, he planned an amazing trip for me to meet him in Dubai. He went all out. He purchased my dresses, shoes, etc. It was really one of the best birthdays ever. I received my dresses and was super excited until I tried them on. I was not satisfied at all with my mid section. I am a mother of two and have a few imperfections to say the least. Haha! A few days later, I started to go to the gym 3-4 times a week. I was so motivated! I saw results but wanted to see more before my upcoming trip. I had a few friends that had laser lipo and cavitation done in the past so I had knowledge of the non-invasive treatments. I found a body sculpting specialist and started my treatments right away! The results were amazing and way cheaper than plastic surgery. Fast forward to 2020, Allure Beauty & Body emerged. I was so pleased with my results that I wanted to provide body sculpting services to others then boom the pandemic hit. I was uncertain of what was going to happen but pushed forward with my business and I am so glad that I did. In 2021, I hit the ground running and haven’t looked back since. Here we are in 2022, I am so happy of the success of Allure.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Oh, not at all! I have definitely had some challenges along the way. Running a business is a challenge within itself. Not only am I business owner, I am a wife and mother. At times juggling all titles can be a challenge. The pandemic has created a few struggles due to the uncertainty of the economy and the increased prices of supplies. When I set prices for Allure, I was adamant on setting my prices to be affordable and reasonable for my clients. Challenges will always arise. That is life, but no matter what challenge I face, I remind myself to remain grateful and thankful. In the end, everything will be alright.
Thanks – tell us more about you. What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from the others and what are you most proud of?
I am the CEO of Allure Beauty & Body. I provide customized body sculpting treatments and therapy services to clients such as laser lipo, cavitation, lymphatic drainage massages, etc. Oh, I also sell great quality waist trainers. My clients are very important and it’s my goal to provide top-notch customer service and results. I believe this is what sets me apart from others. It is not about the money for me. I want to provide individuals with confidence. The same confidence and feeling that I had when I received body sculpting treatments. I love putting a smile on my client’s face when I show them their progress. Their motivation gives me motivation and I push harder to help them reach their body goals. I am so proud to be running a successful business despite what is going on in the world today.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In the next 5-10 years, the beauty/health industry will be on another level. As technology continues to grow, there will be machines and tools that will be more advanced. This can definitely be a game-changer when it comes to the results that clients receive. At the end of the day, we want to feel good and look good and this industry will continue to provide that to people.
