Hi Ashley, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I go by Yelsha Luxe and I am a self-made boss from Chicago. I moved to Atlanta to expand my lifestyle and elevate my environment. I’ve been in Georgia for a few years now and it’s been the best decision I have ever made! I currently have several streams of income one being my marketing agency Yelsha Luxe Designs! Yelsha Luxe Designs has made me over six figures and has only been in operation for 3 1/2 years. My agency provides luxury graphics, web development, and social media management to companies worldwide!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a self-made boss is all fun but we definitely run into some crazy challenges and obstacles! I’ve had to learn to endure and accept the feeling of losing friends and those close to me due to me elevating and them not truly being happy for my success. I learned early that women will admire you all day but envy you even more. I now protect my energy and peace at all costs because when you start making more money, it brings a new energy that people love to compete with. (More money more problems) Being a boss may look easy but it’s purely hard work! It takes discipline, consistency, a healthy mindset, and a positive relationship with your loved ones living and deceased. I always make sure to thank and show gratitude to God, the universe, as well as my ancestors because I definitely don’t produce my blessings by myself I look at them as more so a gift. I know everyone isn’t as spiritual as me or believe but if you live long enough and trust the process life will show you everything you need to see and teach you everything worth knowing. My advice is to follow your guides and trust what life shows you. All the answers are in front of you.

While managing and operating Yelsha Luxe Designs I’ve learned the ins, outs and the importance of branding yourself as well as appealing to the right audience. I now teach other women and business owners how to elevate and market themselves as well as their business.

I owe credit to my partner/gf Mikhale Evans. My mom Cassandra Bell and father Wesley Epps.
