Inspiring Conversations with Cami Barnes of Linked 4 Love

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cami Barnes

Hi Cami, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I would consider my journey to be one of faith, resilience, and purpose. There are many challenges and barriers that I faced in my early life but instead of letting my past define me, I allowed it to refine me. I became the first in my immediate family to graduate from college, earning a bachelors degree in Psychology, followed by an MBA. Now, I’m pursuing my doctorate in Theology & Ministry because I know that my calling is bigger than me.

For over a decade, I worked in human resources, mental health, and social work, helping people navigate challenges and find purpose in their lives. But deep down, I knew God was calling me to do more, to serve on a larger scale. That’s what led me to entrepreneurship and ministry. As an ordained minister, speaker, author, and coach, my mission is to equip and empower others to walk in the full authority of who they were created to be.

That same passion led me to create Linked 4 Love, where I help Christian singles and couples build strong, healthy relationships rooted in faith and emotional intelligence. Whether through coaching, matchmaking, or wedding officiation, I love helping people find and cultivate real, lasting love.

At the heart of it all, my story is proof that no matter where you start, God can take your pain and turn it into purpose. My life’s work is about helping others experience that same transformation, whether in their faith, relationships, or personal growth.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There is no part of my story that has been smooth. The road to success is littered with road blocks, speed bumps, pit falls and detours. But the key is to understand your purpose, be willing to trust God through the challenges and the understanding that everything that we go through is meant to prepare us for the next phase we are being called to.

We’ve been impressed with Linked 4 Love, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As the Founder and CEO of Linked 4 Love, I am driven by a passion for providing Christian singles and married couples with the tools for healthy relationships. My background in Psychology, Professional Development & Career Coaching has given me a unique understanding of the intricate balance between an ambitious career and the desire for a fulfilling personal life.

Linked 4 Love is not just a business; it’s a commitment to guiding individuals toward lasting, meaningful relationships. My business blends bible based principles with emotional intelligence for covenant partnerships that can last a lifetime.

I am not just a Christian relationship coach, I am also an ordained minister & wedding officiant.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Absolutely, stay flexible and open to the journey. When you’re stepping into business or purpose, it’s easy to get attached to a specific vision of how things should go. But the truth is, the Holy Spirit often leads us in ways we didn’t expect. What you start with may not be where you end up, and that’s okay. Be willing to pivot, learn, and grow.

Every setback is a setup for something greater. Don’t be afraid to shift your strategy, refine your vision, or take a different path if needed. Success isn’t about having a perfect plan, it’s about having the faith and resilience to keep moving forward, even when the road looks different than you imagined.

Trust the process, embrace the lessons, and most importantly, keep Jesus at the center. He will order your steps, and as long as you stay obedient and adaptable, you’ll find yourself exactly where you’re meant to be.
