Inspiring Conversations with Candace Watkins- Holyfield of Diamond Peace

Today we’d like to introduce you to Candace Watkins- Holyfield.

Hi Candace, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story, I’ve learned that peace is not the highest goal in life. It is the most fundamental requirement. Honestly speaking growing up, I had no intentions on being an Entrepreneur. I had my mindset on becoming a nurse that was my career path that I thought I had chosen for myself, nursing definitely wasn’t the last stop. I gave the United States Navy six years of my life, that’s where the real journey began when I learned the true meaning of Growth, Peace, Consistency.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road has been anything but smooth, but that’s to be expected when elevation is involved. The biggest struggles and challenges I faced along the way is: self-doubt and caring what others think. I definitely had to learn do what makes you happy even if you’re the only one doing it.

As you know, we’re big fans of Diamond Peace. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
A Trusted Nail Supply Distributor. Diamond Peace is reputable nail supply distributor that offers excellent salon equipment globally. Diamond Peace was established in 2017 and is geared towards women supporting women with breast cancer.

The meaning behind Diamond Peace: A diamond is a piece of coal that handled stress exceptionally well. Breast Cancer is attacking the beautiful diamonds all over the world. When a woman first finds out that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer, she feels like that piece of coal—she just wants to fall apart and give up in that very moment. But she looks around and realizes that she cannot give up too many people are depending on her

So, she starts to handle stress one day at a time. And with each passing moment, she turns into the beautiful diamond that she is. She has so much clarity and confidence and now she’s at peace and can fight a good fight.

“Encouraging one Diamond at a time starting at her fingertips” that’s my motto.

As we all know, pink is the color for Breast Cancer. At Diamond Peace, every pink polish and acrylic powder will have a motivational name. This way, I can simply show my gratitude and support.

Love you, Diamonds

Candace
