Today we’d like to introduce you to Chakika Williams.
Hi Chakika, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The way I got started honestly is just by starting. I initially attended a wonderful informational hosted by my great mentor Ebone. My intentions were to just obtain some information on entrepreneurship, so when I was ready I knew where to start. I never imagine attending the informational in July of 2019 would lead me to the birth of my baby SkyRose Rejuvenation Clinic & Spa 6 months later. From that point, I have been all gas no breaks. I own an Aesthetic Medspa. The name of my business is SkyRose Rejuvenation Clinic & Spa, which is named after my beautiful daughter Skylar Rose! My business was created to assist me with incorporating my love for caring for my clients on a more holistic level. SkyRose RCS has given me the platform to care for all clients from the inside out, leaving them feeling Rejuvenated in Mind, Body, and Soul! SkyRose RCS provides services such as Botox injections, Dermal Fillers, Microneedling, Dermaplaning, IV hydration, Weight-loss management, Chemical peels, Body contouring, and several other beauty enhancement services to many. SkyRose is dedicated to helping all clients achieve the level of beauty they desire!!
With hard work, focus, investing in myself, and believing what is for me is for me, and no one can take it, is what got me to where I am today. I still have a long way to go, however, I am a true believer that no man can close a door that God has opened or open a door God has closed. I am on the right path and helping so many people in many areas of their life. This here is my calling and I do not plan on stopping any time soon. Being an entrepreneur is never easy. Outside of owning a Medical Spa. I am also the CEO and FOunder of SKyRose RCS Medical Aesthetics Academy and SkyRose Clinical & Consultant svcs. From the moment I realized what my purpose was, I have been lasered focused. Not only am I a provider in the wonderful field of Aesthetics, but I am also currently A National Botox & Filler Instructor and Trainer as well. I have come a long way in such a short time and I am not done. I am proud to also be the recipient of not 1 but 2 awards for both Best Medical Spa and Best Educational Institution. SkyRose RCS will soon be a household name! We are claiming it!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Entrepreneurship is never a smooth road and if anyone says otherwise, they are lying. There are many trials and errors, falling flat on your face, loss of investments, tons of investments, and just trying to figure it out. I wouldn’t change it for the world. The way I overcame challenges is through prayer, venting with a friend, and even crying. It’s okay to take a mental break, to cry your frustrations out, just do not straddle there too long. Get it out, shake it off and get back to business. Also never be afraid to ask for help. We do not know everything in the business and you can always benefit from seeking help and viewing things from someone else’s perspective. One of the lessons I have learned is you can not do it alone. Everyone needs help with something. So be open to networking with like-minded people. Be open to constructive criticism. That part is huge; it is how we grow personally and professionally. We have to be coachable as well as teachable in anything we do. What helped me along the way from then until now is investing in mentors and coaches. I have some amazing people in my support circle and without them, I wouldn’t be the woman I am today.
We’ve been impressed with SkyRose Rejuvenation Clinic & Spa, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As mentioned previously, I am a Double-Boarded Family and Pysch Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Soon to be a Doctored prepared Nurse Practitioner. At my Medical Spa, we offer all things aesthetics except Laser treatments. These services include botox, filler, IV hydration lounge, body contouring, facials, and chemical peels. The vampire facial, micro-needling, and much more. I also provide private and group training to other medical professionals seeking to join the aesthetics industry. We are known for instilling confidence in all our clients. Providing them that space to enjoy “me time” and allowing them to not feel guilty for choosing “them”. We are here to work with you as a team and build the most rewarding treatment plan that yields the results you desire. What sets us apart from others is that we are your one-stop Medical spa for all things beauty, health, and wellness. As stated we provide services for all your aesthetic needs, primary care, and mental healthcare. On top of all that we have our sister company to provide all your educational needs. Outside of the private and group training we also offer shadowing, mentoring, and externship opportunities for those interested in learning and obtaining more hands-on experience with botox and fillers. We are proud to offer services to all, we are a very diverse team of professionals, and that I am proud about!
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love about your city are the random celebrity encounters and your skyline. There isn’t anything I can say I like least.
