Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Moore.
Hi Christina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hummm. Not entirely sure where to start, but here goes. I went to undergrad and law school in Chicago. I went to law school thinking I’d do something with kids. I ended up working full time and going to school at night and getting into real estate law. After meeting my, now husband, in Chicago, I made the move to Atlanta in 2008. Without knowing a lot of people in Atlanta, I dove into my work and things I enjoyed, including coaching soccer and running around the City, which was much hillier than Chicago! Tom and I got married and quickly ended up with 4 kids in three quick years. The years have gone by and as the kids have grown up, I have continued to have an active real estate and corp law practice while juggling the kids and sports. I have gotten involved in several organizations as my kids have grown up and I continue to be involved in them because I love the people I meet along the way. Specifically, I am the Board President for Freedom Park Preschool in Inman Park and was a part of moving the preschool from a property on Ponce de Leon Ave to its forever home in Inman Park in 2017. I am on the board of Courage Schools, where one of my children attended for one year, and have watch them impact the school landscape in Atlanta in a way that is a game changer for so many kids and families. Finally, I am on the Board at InterAtlanta Soccer Club where I work to support the organization in dealing with issues like field space for the countless kids that enjoy to play soccer. Just last summer, I left Taylor English Duma with 8 other attorneys to start the Atlanta office of the international law firm of Clark Hill. I am the member in charge of the Atlanta office and, while continuing to maintain and grow my client base, we have over doubled the size of the Atlanta office in less than six months. Clark Hill has been everything all of us had hoped for in a law firm and allowed each of us to get to the next level in building our legal practices. I am busy and I love it. I love working with my clients to accomplish a deal or grow their business and, at the same time, watching my kids compete in soccer and basketball. At each opportunity, I connect with entrepreneur, families and children around me to enjoy the moment and build the relationship.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’d say life is never smooth but if you look for the positive, the struggles along the way can be manageable. I also try and remember that life is a series of phases and phases come and go. I try and push the through the tough phases and adjust, while at the same time leaning on those around me to get through it. I’d say my biggest struggle is finding enough time to get everything done and support all those around me.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
The beltline!!! I love the walkability and livability of Atlanta. I love that my kids are growing up knowing they can get themselves around the City to see friends and enjoy what the City has to offer from Krog Street Market to Ponce City Market and everything along the way.
