Today we’d like to introduce you to Corey and Jessica Perlman.
Hi Corey and Jessica, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Remember the show Road Rules on MTV? Well, it was kind of like that. We had an internship with General Motors and traveled by van city-to-city for six months. We’d stay one night and then off to the next city. During these six months, we managed to not only not kill each other but strike up a friendship that would evolve into a loving marriage.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s tough running a business as husband and wife. We went through a lot of challenges along the way and still have to create strong boundaries between work and family. Over the years, we’ve gotten better at knowing each other’s strengths and weaknesses and giving a lot of grace to each other and those around us.

We are a full-service boutique digital marketing agency that specializes in helping businesses tell their story on social media. Corey runs the day-to-day operations of the business and Jessica runs the backend including payroll, taxes, insurance and other HR duties. Corey’s also a full-time professional speaker and author – he speaks to companies and associations about utilizing social media for business. Jessica also manages the marketing and promotion for this side of the business so, yes, there’s lots to do!

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Both have a philanthropic, service-oriented heart – Corey has facilitated a fatherhood program called Nurturing Fathers at the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary over the last 8 years. (www.nurturingfathers.com) Jessica has been on the board of Atlanta Moms Making a Difference, a local non-profit that provides safe opportunities for moms and kids to volunteer together for the past five years. Professionally, we jumped into the podcast world this year and launched the Authentically Social podcast together. Each episode unpacks tried and true principles that we have gained over the past decade of running our agency.
