Inspiring Conversations with Dion Kirksey of Clock’D Athletics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dion Kirksey.

Hi Dion, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a certified personal trainer & nutritionist. I got into fitness five years ago after a bad breakup, I wanted a revenge body. However, it turned into a passion and career for me. I am currently a weight loss & calisthenics specialist looking to grow. I am currently training at a black-owned gym called FDL Compound. The first gym to give me a shot at being a trainer and since I have grown. I absolutely love the fitness world and the journey it has taken me on thus far, excited to see where it goes. I am forever a student in this industry and I am ready to learn.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Well, I was always told, “nothing in life worth having is going to come easy”, so therefore I knew this journey wouldn’t be easy. I think it’s mostly the consistency and discipline was the hardest. Like you have to set goals and stick to them in order to get the results you want.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Clock’D Athletics LLC?
Clock’D Athletics is a fitness organization specializing in weight loss & calisthenics. I am known as the coach who understands what it is to be overweight & underweight. That’s what sets me apart! I haven’t always been fit and I am extremely fit now. I want the world to know that Clock’D Athletics is here to help promote a healthier lifestyle without the extreme diets or unhealthy habits.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I just want the readers to know that Coach D is here to stay. Remember that name because you will hear it again.
