Today, we’d like to introduce you to Ebony Ferrell.
Hi Ebony, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. Before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I started by doing hair at home but I still worked other jobs until one day at my last job I decided to leave and start doing hair full-time in a Salon. After I decided to do that, I didn’t go back to working at other jobs.
The last place I worked was a Baber Shop until I finally got the courage together to step out on faith to take the steps to begin the process of opening my own Salon, which was always a goal of mine. Without God, none of this would have been possible!!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road I ran into all kinds of problems.
It seemed like every time I would take a step forward, I would get knocked back down even harder, but I never gave up because I set goals and knew what I wanted for myself. It was hard getting clientele and trying to figure out how I could get my business out to the public. So, I went to many different events and passed out flyers and cards to get my business out there.
We’ve been impressed with Heavenly Designs By Ebony Hair Salon, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Heavenly Designs By Ebony Hair Salon, we provide a variety of services for clients.
We are a full-service Salon that offers services such as Sew-Ins, Quick Weaves, Unit services, Crochet, Silk Press, local services, Two Strand, Shampoo, Natural Hair Services, Relaxers, Color, Trim, Hair Treatment, Hair Cuts, Knotless Braids, Bohemian Braids, Feed In Braids and many other services.
A lot of places don’t offer full services and that is what makes us different from other places. We also strive to make sure clients are in a comfortable, safe, and fun environment.
