My name is Elizabeth Rosner, and my students nicknamed me DrRoz. My journey with DebtFreeDegree began with a strong passion for education and a desire to help students achieve their dreams without the burden of student loan debt.
I’ve always believed that every student should have access to higher education, regardless of their financial circumstances. However, I witnessed firsthand the struggles that student loans can impose on individuals and their families. I knew there had to be a better way.
Driven by my own personal experiences, I set out on a mission to find a way for students to earn their degrees without accumulating mountains of debt. I was determined to prove that it was possible to achieve a DebtFreeDegree, even in today’s challenging educational landscape.
Armed with this determination, I embarked on my own educational journey. I earned three degrees, including my PhD, while taking only $1,000 in loans. It was a remarkable achievement that demonstrated the power of resourcefulness and thinking outside the box.
Inspired by my own success, I founded DebtFreeDegree with DrRoz. I wanted to create a platform where I could provide students with valuable insights, tools, and resources to navigate the complex world of higher education financing. My goal was to empower students to make informed decisions and avoid the heavy burden of student loan debt.
As the Founder and Chief Educational Officer of DebtFreeDegree with DrRoz, I am dedicated to spreading awareness and educating students about alternative pathways to finance their education. I firmly believe that with the right knowledge and guidance, every student can graduate without being suffocated by student loans.
But my vision doesn’t stop there. I dream of a future where every middle school and high school in the United States has a DebtFreeDegree with DrRoz Club. By fostering a culture of financial empowerment and access to higher education, we can create a brighter future for all.

One of the main challenges was navigating the complex landscape of higher education financing. I realized that many students and families were unaware of the alternatives available to them. It was disheartening to witness individuals being saddled with immense student loan debt simply because they were not aware of other options.
Additionally, I encountered skepticism and resistance from those who believed that achieving a DebtFreeDegree was an impossible feat. Some individuals questioned the feasibility of pursuing higher education without relying heavily on loans. Overcoming these doubts and proving that it was indeed possible became a major hurdle in my journey.
Another struggle was finding the resources and support necessary to guide students toward a DebtFreeDegree. Access to accurate information, tools, and personalized guidance was limited, making it challenging for students to make informed decisions. I knew that in order to truly make a difference, I needed to provide comprehensive resources and support to empower students along their educational journeys.
