Evonya, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I became an entrepreneur to turn my passion into profits full-time. I was always pretty stylish and was helping family and friends for fun; then someone offered to pay me, and that planted the seed to create my business that empowers men and women to feel confident in how they show up in their personal and professional lives, and how that confidence leads them to accomplish their professional and personal goals. My company is Love E Fashion, and we service busy professionals, ensuring they show up how they want to be seen in the world while making the shopping logistics seamless and convenient for them. We deliver the wardrobe with the style expertise. Our platform, Styled by Love E, connects users to personal stylists to shop virtually or in person, giving the client an interactive shopping & style experience; we also create 3D virtual reality style activation for companies, organizations, and corporations. We are the future of retail while supporting minority women-owned retailers and designers. I have been a personal stylist for over a decade, worked with many clients in my career, and have worked in every aspect of this business from entertainment, fashion, corporate and private clients.
Some of our work has been on Fox 5 Atlanta and CBS Atlanta, Disney, VH-1, TV, and film.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road; entrepreneurship comes with its ups/downs and ebbs and flow and have to be consistent and push through regardless of what it looks like and stay focused, and have a lot of faith to continue to endure to get to the successes.
We’ve been impressed with Love E Fashion, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Love E offers personal styling and shopping services using technology to help busy professionals show up as their most confident selves. We do this virtual and in person, making the shopping experience more efficient, personalized, and interactive. Along with marketing event productions using retail and tech for clients to have a more engaged user experience to generate increased revenue for the businesses. I am super proud of being able to take my hobby/passion for empowering people through style/image and make it a sustainable business that supports the majority of minority women-owned businesses. Along with being able to create jobs and give back to minority women while employing them and serving the majority of women clients at the same time. I am blessed to be able to make a living doing what I love while making an impact on people lives simultaneously.
