Inspiring Conversations with Jackie of 1st Class Real Estate Excellence

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jackie.

Hi Jackie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Our company is located in Columbus, GA but we are licensed to business in GA and AL.

I started in real estate in 1998 after purchasing my first home at age 22. That first purchase got me hooked and I had to pursue the career. It took 10 years for me to pursue it but pursue I did. I have not looked back. I shifted from being an agent to a broker/owner in 2023 and have really enjoyed this new position of ownership. We organically grew to 30 plus agents in our first year and now have 65 agents. The rest is what you say “history”.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As with anything, you have ups and downs, but it has more up than down. After the learning curve, it was mainly smooth sailing.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about 1st Class Real Estate Excellence?
We are a real estate firm. What sets us apart is our motto which what we live by; “Changing Lives and Selling a Few Homes Along the Way”.

We care about our clients. We care about relationships and not so much the transactions. We also love getting involved in community events and activities so that we can give back to the community.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see the industry continuing to shift forward in a positive direction. We believe 2026 will be a great year.
