Today we’d like to introduce you to Jané Moses.

Hi Jané , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I began my journey of selling jewelry in 2017. I saw some family members posting pictures of pieces on Facebook and saying they were $5 and people kept saying SOLD! I kept watching and I was like I have to see what that’s about. I reached out and I was told that they were selling through a company named Paparazzi Accessories and I could get started for $99. So, I said I would give it a try. When I first started I was simply posting quality pictures of the pieces that I received. I’ve always been big on even if it’s inexpensive it doesn’t have to LOOK inexpensive. People were buying as quick as I could post. I was meeting people, dropping off jewelry, doing home parties and my business just began to really take off. Before I knew it people were joining my team and became my business partners. That growth in business and my team led me to becoming one of the top consultants in the entire company. My team and I earned Elite in 2020. Like many business owners I have experienced so much in these past 8 years but I have been able to learn so much about not only business but myself! Through entrepreneurship I have been able to prove to myself and others that I am a resilient powerhouse. Who would have known that a $99 opportunity would turn in this?!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all. When I started I was young and inexperienced in business. Honestly, my talent proceeded my expectations. My intention was to just make a little extra money and before I knew it I was doing great in sales and assuming a leadership role while I was still learning and growing myself.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am known for selling affordable jewelry. While many sell the jewelry, what sets me apart is my charisma, swag, and personality. I can be found selling on Facebook (which I love because my customers are like family to me), vendor events in GA/SC (another favorite of mine because I get to connect and bring a smile to new customers’ faces), and I post new items on Instagram, TikTok, and Snap Chat as well. I’m most proud of the fact that I never gave up on my business. There were times where I have had to pivot, learn new things, and adapt. I’m so grateful for all of the individuals that have chosen to support me over the years.
