Inspiring Conversations with Jasmine Holland of Good & Well LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Holland.

Hi Jasmine, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started Pilates in high school through dance class conditioning and online platforms. During this time, I truly struggled with body image and self confidence. Dance and Pilates were the forms of movement that truly helped ground me. I began to view movement as therapy instead of punishment to look a certain way.

My path has been shaped by a deep curiosity about how we care for ourselves—physically, mentally, and environmentally. What began as a personal exploration of movement, wellness, and slowing down gradually evolved into something I wanted to share with others. Through Pilates and overall wellness, I found common ground in presence, consistency, and growth. Over time, that personal practice became purposeful work, and today I’m grateful to create spaces—both online and offline—that encourage people to feel good, stay grounded, and build sustainable routines that support their well-being.

I became certified to teach Pilates in 2024 and have since been dedicated to sharing the practice with others so they can truly experience feeling at home in their bodies.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a fulfilling road full of learning lessons and a few struggles along the way. Creating spaces for community brings its challenges but I’ve had to remind myself that the goal in the early stages of my wellness community is building community. “Build it and they will come. ” is a quote that sticks with me – it reminds me that through every new event I try, new facility I host in, new class I teach, the community that needs it the most will find me in due time. Teaching small classes can be discouraging but the intimacy of my time with clients is priceless.

Imposter syndrome was also a huge struggle for me during the beginning stages of my teaching. I overcame this by blocking out the noise that told me my ideas weren’t good enough, and through this I found confidence. The hardest step is to start.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Good & Well Pilates is rooted in the belief that movement should feel supportive, sustainable, and accessible. I offer Pilates that focuses on building strength, mobility, and body awareness while encouraging people to slow down and truly connect with their bodies. What sets my work apart is the emphasis on mindful movement over intensity or aesthetics—prioritizing how movement feels rather than how it looks. Brand-wise, I’m most proud of creating a space that feels welcoming and inclusive, where people of all levels can develop consistent, nourishing movement practices. I want readers to know that Good & Well Pilates is about cultivating long-term well-being through thoughtful, intentional movement that fits into real life.

I offer classes at D1 Upper Westside in Atlanta, Aiken Yoga in Aiken, South Carolina, and offer virtual classes as well. I have done several popups with non profit organizations and aim to continue partnering with non profits and wellness brands in the future. My overall goal is to help immerse underserved communities with wellness opportunities and access to resources.

I also do workshops back in my hometown in the Aiken/August area and highlight wellness fundamentals and pilates in high schools.

All of my class information can be found on @goodandwellpilates on Instagram!

What makes you happy?
When I reflect on what truly makes me happy, I think of my loved ones. The love they give to me truly makes me most happy. I find joy knowing that I can reciprocate that love through other formats – such as the gift of wellness. Coming from a southern family that isn’t too keen on what wellness practices can look like for them, I am happy to be a resource for them to help bridge the gap between them and their wellness goals. Whether it’s a pilates class, nutrition advice, or meditation resources, I love that the passion I have for wellness transcends into the betterment of my family.

What also makes me happiest is feeling grounded and present—whether that’s through movement, teaching, or moments of quiet consistency. Pilates brings me joy because it invites awareness and care into the body, and I find fulfillment in helping others feel more connected, strong, and at ease. Happiness, for me, comes from creating and maintaining practices that support well-being over time rather than chasing quick results.
