Hi Jayne, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a 32-year survivor of suicide loss, and my journey began with the devastating loss of my uncle, Ray, on January 1, 1992. At the time, the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide was profound, leaving my family and me to grieve in silence. Four years later, the emotional impact of his loss took a severe toll on my health. I was diagnosed with lupus and told I wouldn’t live past 50. As a mother of two young daughters, that wake-up call pushed me to search for answers beyond traditional talk therapy, which had offered me little relief.
I discovered holistic healing techniques—tools that not only helped me recover from grief but also reversed my terminal lupus diagnosis. Then, in November 2022, I lost my 24-year-old nephew, Brandon, to suicide. Facing that unimaginable loss reignited my commitment to helping others heal. I realized I wanted no survivor to feel as alone or hopeless as I had once felt.
Today, I am a holistic neuropsychotherapist, certified energy medicine specialist, and Master EFT Practitioner. I’ve dedicated my life to supporting women who have lost a loved one to suicide.
Through my online courses, retreats, membership community, I teach the holistic tools that transformed my grief and health. My work is about empowering survivors to heal, not just from their loss, but in every area of their lives. I believe healing is possible, and I’m living proof of that.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, and I don’t believe healing ever is. Losing my uncle to suicide in 1992 shattered me, and the weight of unspoken grief and shame lingered for years. At the time, there was so much stigma surrounding suicide and mental health that it felt impossible to talk about the pain openly. I was left feeling isolated and overwhelmed, which eventually manifested in my body as lupus. Being told I wouldn’t live past 50, as a young mother, was one of the darkest moments of my life.
The turning point came when I decided I couldn’t accept a life defined by illness, grief, and loss. I had to fight for my health, my daughters, and my future. I spent years learning holistic healing methods, like energy medicine, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and nervous system retraining, all of which became the foundation of my recovery.
Then, in 2022, I lost my nephew, Brandon, to suicide. It was like being hit by a tidal wave of grief all over again. I had to revisit every tool I’d learned to navigate that heartbreak. Even as someone who teaches healing, I realized that the road is never linear. Healing doesn’t mean you don’t hurt. It means you keep choosing to move forward, even when it’s hard.
Some of the struggles I’ve faced include dealing with PTSD, battling a terminal illness, and overcoming the internalized stigma around suicide loss. But through those challenges, I’ve learned that healing is possible—not just for me, but for anyone willing to take that first step. And that’s why I do what I do today: to share hope, tools, and compassion with others who are struggling.

My business focuses on helping women who have lost a loved one to suicide find healing, hope, and empowerment. I specialize in blending holistic and somatic techniques with compassionate support to guide survivors through their grief and toward a place of restoration. What sets me apart is that I’ve walked this path myself. As a certified Neuropsychotherapist, Suicide Bereavement Clinician, Energy Medicine Specialist, Master Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner —and a 32-year survivor of suicide loss—I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to my work. I know firsthand the depth of this pain, and my mission is to show survivors that healing is possible.

Expanding the Mission:
In January 2025, I will expand my offerings with the launch of Healing After Suicide: Beyond the Grief, an online Circle community designed exclusively for women survivors of suicide loss. This membership-based program provides access to guided healing practices, live support sessions, and a growing library of meditations, mini-courses, and expert-led content. Members will also gain connection and growth opportunities, healing alongside others who share similar experiences. For those seeking a deeper, immersive experience, one of my most anticipated events, Finding Solace: Sedona Survivor Retreat – Transforming Grief into Healing, will take place February 28–March 4, 2025. Set against Sedona’s serene backdrop, participants will engage in healing practices such as meditation, gentle yoga, sound therapy, cacao ceremonies, and guided excursions to Sedona’s renowned vortex sites. Addressing Larger Challenges:
My work extends beyond individual healing to address societal challenges, particularly the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide. I am passionate about fostering open, compassionate conversations that reduce shame and isolation for survivors. By creating safe spaces and accessible resources, we can improve mental health awareness and suicide prevention while offering survivors the support they deserve.

Most importantly, my work honors the legacy of my uncle, Ray, and my nephew, Brandon, whose lives were so much more than their deaths.
