Today we’d like to introduce you to Ji Young Baik.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started with the idea that I wanted healthy Korean food to be easy and convenient for anyone to enjoy.
Of course, at first it wasn’t as easy as I thought to introduce Korean food to customers, but I worked hard to make sure they could accept and enjoy a variety of dishes without hesitation, and now many of them really like it.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Since I started during the COVID period, it was really tough the first year — students from Georgia State around me were taking online classes, and hospitals like Grady Hospital also had many restrictions.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Let’s Bap ?
It’s a restaurant where you can conveniently enjoy a variety of Korean foods.
We offer dishes like lunchbox-style plates with multiple items, traditional Korean dishes such as bibimbap, and popular Korean street foods that are gaining a lot of attention these days.
We also provide catering services in buffet style or individually packaged portions, allowing you to create a party that’s unique and special.
The prices are also reasonable, so you can enjoy the food without any burden.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I haven’t specifically sought out a mentor, but I try to talk with my customers a lot. I listen to their opinions and actively take their feedback into account, especially if there are areas that need improvement or adjustment.
