Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenneth Raley.
Hi Kenneth, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Kenneth Paul Raley III. I go by Kenneth because, being the third, all of the good nicknames were already taken by my father and grandfather.
I was born and raised in the metropolitan Atlanta area and have lived in Georgia for the vast majority of my life. I attended High School at Collins Hill High School in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
Following high school, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Georgia College and State University, in Milledgeville, which is also where I met my wife, Ashley.
I then earned my law degree with honors, cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where I was published in and a substance and citation editor for the Loyola Maritime Law Journal.
After law school, I returned to Georgia where I sat for the bar exam. Fast forward to today and I am now a trial lawyer that represents seriously injured people across the state of Georgia, having done so with Kaufman Injury Law, P.C. for the past nine years.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been a smooth road. I took the LSAT twice because I was not satisfied by my first score and I was waitlisted at Loyola before I got in. When I passed the Georgia Bar Exam in 2013, the legal market was much tighter than it is now. In order to overcome the difficult job market, I networked relentlessly to land my first job as an attorney. I think the key takeaway from my experience is to bet on yourself and never give up.

Kaufman Injury Law, P.C. is a law firm that specializes in fighting for seriously injured people throughout the State of Georgia. We handle all types of cases from serious injuries due to negligence or in the work place to wrongful death and medical malpractice cases.
I am most proud of the work we do at Kaufman Injury Law, P.C. because of our relentless preparation that we put into each and every case that we handle. Furthermore, we focus on giving the most personal service to our clients and maintaining excellent communication with each one. Personally, I most proud of my $3.25 million dollar settlement obtained after a difficult litigation battle.
What’s next?
Professionally, I am most looking forward to a trial that I have coming up and giving my client the chance to tell their story and let the truth be told. It is an honor to be able to tell my client’s story to the jury in our fight for justice.
