Inspiring Conversations with Kimberly Speights of Kingdom Minded Mentoring w/ Kim

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Speights.

Hi Kimberly, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
During my tenure as Executive Director of Empowered To Overcome Inc., many women entrepreneurs began approaching me about the steps it took me to become a successful strategist. This led me to form Kingdom Minded Mentoring w/Kim. Mentoring encompasses monthly one-on-one sessions, quarterly meetings, 1-5 year strategic planning, Foundations For The Female Founder, discounts to workshops and yearly retreats.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I am very prayerful about those that apply to become a Mentee. This is purpose for me, so everyone cannot be a part. The struggle lies in the mentee not wanting to do the work to achieve the goals they set. At that point, the Mentor-Mentee relationship has to be terminated. I refuse to cast my pearls to swine. It’s also been challenging balancing mentoring and pursuing my PhD but with successful time management planning, I’m making it work!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Kingdom Minded Mentoring w/Kim?
