Hi Lacey, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started at University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, GA where I got a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. I started pursuing a physical therapy degree and worked for a few different physical therapy but I just felt like it wasn’t for me, I wanted a more hand on approach to helping people. That’s where I found massage therapy. I started massage school at Georgia Massage School in Suwannee, GA. I took to massage very quickly and felt like I was making a difference for people in real time. Having clients come in then after only an hour feeling so much relief made me feel like I found my passion. Seeing the smile on my clients faces after each session and the progress we make over just a short time makes me feel like I have found my true purpose in life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Since I have have a background in Kinesiology anatomy and the body in general was easy to learn & understand. Picking up different techniques is what really helped me grow as a therapist, with the help of my current boss in Duluth at Profound Wellness and my other boss at FlexFit Physio & Sports Massage in Cumming I have learned so much in such a short time. They both have taken me under their wings and shown me so much, I’m constantly growing in confidence and knowing though their guidance.
