Hi Mercedes, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
The Unique Enterprises Company was birthed as a resource to help growing businesses along their journey through entrepreneurship. Providing services such as logos, business card development, and website development has helped many entrepreneurs get a visual of their baby (business) as it comes to life.
I needed help when starting my business, and unfortunately the help that was being offered didn’t feel like it was passionate but more so to just add me to the number.
When my clients work with me, they get the full experience. I answer those tough questions and provide critical feedback that they all soon appreciate as time goes by.
As of today, I have worked with over 200 businesses and has helped start over 50 of those businesses.
I am where I am today not because of my clients. Their word of mouth, their consistency, and their trust in me pushes me to keep going. My help comes from God because it’s days where I want to walk away from it all but I know this is what I am supposed to do.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. My constant struggle is believing in myself and my talent. I learned early on that I had to stop comparing myself to other individuals in the industry. I had to do what worked for me. When you start doubting yourself, it makes it even harder to push toward success because you are standing in your own way.

I specialize in graphic design. This can range from flyers, logo development, website development, business cards, loyalty cards, thank you cards, and ebooks.
I’m mostly known for my flyers, logos, and business cards.
What sets me apart is I’m a sponge when it comes to learning. I love to be taught because that’s knowledge I can put into my business.
I am most proud of starting from a dream (while sleeping) and now it’s a fast-growing client-based business.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Always take risks. Even if you don’t understand the why just do it. It will be a teachable moment no matter what. If it doesn’t work then it may have not been the right time. Taking risks is what gets people to places they never thought they would be.
