Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathanael Rush.

Hi Nathanael, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 10 years, and my journey really started with my own passion for health and performance. Early in my career, I worked my way up in large gyms, eventually becoming an operations manager overseeing a $10 million facility, as well as a personal training sales manager where I learned both the client side and the business side of fitness.
While I gained a lot of experience in those roles, I also saw the gaps—people needed a more personal, flexible, and results-driven approach. That’s what inspired me to launch Rush Fit Training. I wanted to bring high-quality personal training directly to people in their homes, making fitness accessible without sacrificing expertise.
Along the way, I’ve earned multiple certifications across corrective exercise, stress management, nutrition, and even genetics-based training, so I can serve clients at every level. Today, Rush Fit Training has grown into more than just personal training—we provide small group training, wellness services like cupping therapy, and even our own product line. We’ve been fortunate to be recognized with multiple awards, including being named one of the best training companies in the county.
At the core, my mission hasn’t changed: help people realize it doesn’t get easier, you get better.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, and honestly, I think that’s part of what makes Rush Fit what it is today. One of the biggest challenges has been stepping out of the comfort of big-box gyms and building something on my own from the ground up. When you’re running your own business, you’re not just the trainer—you’re also sales, marketing, customer service, and operations all in one.
Early on, I struggled with clients canceling or not fully committing, and learning how to structure policies and pricing that protected the business while still serving clients was a big lesson. Marketing has also been a challenge, especially when you’re competing with larger gyms with big budgets.
But every struggle has pushed me to get sharper—whether it’s refining how I find and keep the right clients, building strong community partnerships, or diversifying what we offer. Those challenges are what helped Rush Fit Training grow from just me with a vision to an award-winning company that continues to expand.

As you know, we’re big fans of Rush Fit Training . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Rush Fit Training is my personal training and performance brand offering both mobile and online coaching. I work with clients in their homes, private facilities, or remotely, creating personalized, science driven programs designed to be sustainable and effective.

I specialize in customized training that goes beyond generic workouts, including strength and fat loss, corrective exercise, mobility, athletic conditioning, recovery services like cupping therapy, and genetic fitness testing to further individualize programming. I work with a wide range of clients, from busy professionals to older adults and individuals managing injuries or neurological conditions.

What sets my brand apart is the emphasis on intelligent programming, long term results, and trust. Rush Fit Training has been recognized multiple times as a Top Pro and was recently voted Best Personal Training Studio in Gwinnett County. My motto, “It doesn’t get easier, you get better,” reflects the standard behind everything I do.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can work with me through personalized in person training, online coaching, or structured programs designed around their goals, lifestyle, and experience level. I also offer genetic fitness testing and recovery services that can be integrated into training for a more customized approach.

I’m open to collaborations with brands, wellness professionals, apartment communities, and organizations that align with performance, health, and education. Support can also come through referrals, social media engagement, and sharing the Rush Fit Training mission with individuals who value intelligent, personalized fitness solutions.
