Inspiring Conversations with Paris Landon of Woodstock Coffee Company

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paris Landon.

Paris, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey with coffee began in 2015, rooted in the culture I grew up with in Seattle, Washington—where coffee is more than just a drink; it’s a daily ritual and a way to connect with others. I started by learning the craft of roasting, working alongside my family to create small-batch, high-quality coffee and deliver it locally. As we honed our skills, our reach grew—we began serving churches, schools, and neighborhood cafés, always focused on building community through great coffee.

In 2023, we opened our own café, which was a huge milestone. It gave us a home base to share our passion daily and create a space where everyone feels welcome. Our vision has always been to offer craft-roasted coffee in an environment that’s warm, approachable, and community-centered. For us, it’s about more than coffee—it’s about creating moments of connection, one cup at a time.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
A significant part of my journey includes having been formerly incarcerated. That experience, while incredibly challenging, built in me a deep resilience and drive that ultimately shaped who I am as an entrepreneur today. I took on the immense challenge of operating a full-time corporate facility in the health and fitness industry, while roasting coffee at night to grow what would become Woodstock Coffee Company.

It wasn’t easy—there were real financial strains, long nights, and the constant balancing act of raising four amazing children while trying to build something meaningful. But those hardships fueled my commitment. Every hurdle became a reason to push forward, and it’s that grit and purpose that still guide me today. What started as a side hustle rooted in passion has grown into a full-scale business, and I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Woodstock Coffee Company?
