Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrick Krier.
Hi Patrick, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We both grew up in Wisconsin, about an hour north of Milwaukee—a place where football, history, and cold weather are a way of life. I met my wife, Kelsey, in middle school, and we’ve been together ever since. We attended both undergrad (Winona State University) and graduate school (Palmer College of Chiropractic) together.
In the summer of 2020, we got engaged. Then in the fall of 2021, after hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ, we felt a deep conviction that we were called to be married. Just a month later, in December 2021, we exchanged vows and began the blessing of faithful marriage.
This is when we would both say our lives truly began—with purpose and direction. During chiropractic school, we got involved in church, student organizations, and began building lifelong relationships. As graduation approached, we started dreaming about the future. One thing was clear: we wanted to own a business and serve others by improving their health and wellbeing. The only question was—where?
That answer came during a summer trip in 2023. While vacationing in Alpharetta, Georgia, we felt a strong sense of peace and belonging. As we drove to our next stop, Kelsey turned to me and said, “That was home, wasn’t it?” I agreed—we knew this was where we were meant to be.
As graduation neared, we began our final internships—Kelsey in Raleigh, North Carolina, and me in Chelsea, Alabama. It was our first time apart for weeks at a time, and through it, we gained valuable insight that helped our relationship grow stronger.
We also began planning to open a clinic in Flowery Branch, GA. However, shortly after moving to Georgia, those plans unexpectedly fell through. With little time to spare, we pivoted and started our business out of The Beast Sports Center in Gainesville, operating from a shared wellness space.
The search for a permanent location continued. On March 1, 2025, we signed a lease to build out our own clinic in Braselton, GA. We’re currently preparing to open in September 2025, offering services focused on movement (functional fitness), nutrition (diet and supplements), and temperature therapy (sauna and cold plunge). We believe these three pillars are essential for overcoming health challenges and building resilience.
Our mission is to serve the Braselton community with excellence and to expand our model of care across the country—and, one day, the world—through both for-profit and non-profit efforts. Above all, we strive to serve faithfully for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
A smooth, challenge-free life is often a sign that it’s not being fully lived.
Some of our biggest struggles have involved forming solid beliefs, finding a healthy balance, and pursuing a lifestyle that reflects the very health principles we want to share with others.
Our beliefs are shaped by what we observe, how we process it, and how we interpret truth. During my freshman year of college, I came to realize I didn’t have firm convictions about many important issues—human life, politics, race, gender, and more. I found myself caught between the values I was raised with and the very different perspectives being taught in school. That tension made one thing clear: two contradictory beliefs cannot both be true. There has to be a standard of absolute truth.
When I heard the gospel, I understood why it truly is good news. I came to see that I am sinful, imperfect, and unable to stand justified before a holy God by on my own. I need a Savior. But it took nearly two years for me to realize that I also need a Lord—someone to lead my life. The same God who created all things also provides clarity and simplicity in how we are called to live through the Bible. I now believe that when we live according to His design, we experience true fullness in life and answers to the questions that scholars so desperately desire to answer.
Balance—especially between work and rest—has been another major challenge, particularly while launching a business. One practical habit that’s helped us is defining clear boundaries at the start and end of each workday. This discipline allows us to be fully engaged during work and truly rest and recharge afterward.
Living a healthy lifestyle is a constant pursuit—and more difficult than ever in today’s world. Still, we’ve learned that a life built on purpose, movement, whole foods, quality sleep, meaningful relationships, and a healthy rhythm of stress and rest leads to resilience and lasting wellness. Unfortunately, we live in a culture that often sells shortcuts— the new gadgets or “health hacks”—as cure-alls. But real health doesn’t come from hacks. It comes from engaging with life, embracing manageable stress, and recovering well.
Ultimately, we’ve learned that health is what you consistently put into your life—and how well you recover. It’s all connected: your beliefs shape your values, your values shape your habits, and those habits build the foundation for long-term health.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
What Sets Us Apart:
1. Our View of the Human Body:
We believe the body is designed to function optimally when supported by key lifestyle principles—what we call the “pillars of health.” These include purpose, movement, nutrition, sleep, relationships, and effective stress management. When illness or dysfunction arises, it often points to a breakdown in one or more of these areas.
2. Our Scope of Practice:
We use our clinical training to assess where meaningful change can happen and design targeted strategies using movement, nutrition, and temperature as therapeutic tools. These modalities allow us to stress the body in productive ways, facilitate recovery, and build long-term adaptability and resilience.
3. Our Approach to Relationships:
We view health care as deeply relational. We’re not just mechanics fixing a broken machine—we’re stewards of human life. We believe the best outcomes come from authentic relationships between practitioner and patient. Just as a parent deeply understands their child, or a coach knows their athlete, we strive to know and support the people we serve on a personal level. We walk alongside our clients in their health journeys while staying committed to our own.
What Makes Us Proud
We’re proud to equip our clients with the tools and knowledge they need to live fully—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Whether they need a push forward or support during a tough season, we’re here to walk with them at every stage of life.
What We Want You to Know
Your health is your responsibility—and it’s not something you have to surrender to age, unpredictability, or decline. We reject the idea that the body inevitably breaks down without hope for improvement. How you treat your body determines how well it will function. Our goal is to help you realize your potential and live a purposeful, healthy life.
We offer in-person care, online services, and hybrid options to best meet your needs—whether you’re nearby or across the country. No matter where you are, we’re here to help you take control of your health through our evidence-informed, relationship-centered care model focused on movement, nutrition, and temperature as medicine.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
We see our industry continuing to see the potential we have with being purposeful with utilizing a healthy lifestyle. The big shifts that have already started and will continue to take place will be in the form of making health a one stop shop or what is now termed as a “white glove” service for any individual based on blood work, lifestyle assessment, and goals.
