Inspiring Conversations with Rachel Eisaman of Joli Residential

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Eisaman.

Hi Rachel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In 2009, I was let go from a sales job in architectural products — one of those moments that feels terrifying and liberating all at once. I’d been quietly dreaming about stepping out on my own as a designer, but I didn’t think I was ready. Suddenly, the timing was decided for me. What I did know was that I wanted to serve people in a more genuine way — to make their spaces, and their lives, feel better.

So I did what many entrepreneurs do at the beginning: I said yes to everything. I filed for my LLC, bartended at night, and spent my days building a design portfolio. It was scrappy and exhausting, but it also taught me discipline, creativity, and resilience.

A few design projects led to something unexpected — a family in Ansley Park invited me in as a fractional home manager. That opportunity changed the course of everything. I discovered how much I loved bringing structure, calm, and order to a household. Over time, I added more families to the mix, and one day, a client said, “Can you help me move?”

That moment was the spark that became Joli Residential. Move management blended everything I loved — the project management, the design eye, the organization, and most importantly, the ability to care for people during one of life’s most stressful transitions. From that very first client, the feedback was the same: “This was the easiest move of our lives.”

Today, Joli is redefining what moving can feel like. We’re changing the narrative from stress and chaos to ease and beauty — proving that a move can actually be an experience of support and renewal. For me, Joli is more than a business; it’s a way to wrap our clients in reassurance and say, “We’ve got you.”

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s never a smooth road when you are learning and growing. However, each new challenge proves to be an opportunity to look at what we are doing from a different perspective and to shift the process for the better.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Joli Residential?
Joli Residential is a luxury move management and home organization company redefining what it means to move. We specialize in guiding clients through every step of the transition — from pre-listing prep, packing, and logistics to installation, organization, and home styling — with the precision of a project manager and the heart of a designer.

Our clients are often busy professionals and families with beautifully curated homes and full lives. They trust us to handle the details so they can focus on what truly matters: stepping into their new chapter with ease. What sets Joli apart is our combination of elegance, empathy, and execution — we blend the art of design with the science of logistics to create a moving experience that feels effortless.

We’re known for transforming what’s traditionally one of life’s most stressful experiences into something organized, elevated, and even joyful. Whether we’re managing a multi-million-dollar relocation, unpacking and styling a new home, or creating systems that bring lasting order, our goal is always the same: to make life lighter, easier, and more beautiful for our clients.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the heart behind Joli. We operate with integrity, respect, and genuine care — not just for our clients, but for our team. Joli isn’t just about logistics; it’s about people. Our name literally means “pretty” in French, and we live by that — finding the beauty in the details, in our service, and in the way we help others feel at home.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
My first degree was in Forensic Anthropology and I am always up for a good adventure – like hang gliding off the Swiss Alps!
