Today we’d like to introduce you to Rashad & Monique Davis.
Hi Rashad & Monique , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
We often say our journey is really about two things: faith and purpose. Both of us come from very different professional backgrounds, but what has always connected us is a shared desire to build, to serve, and to leave a legacy.
Monique started in recruiting over 15 years ago, often navigating spaces where she had to create her own lane without a degree but with grit, strategy, and faith. That path led her into talent optimization, leadership consulting, and ultimately launching Fresh Talent Solutions to help organizations align people with purpose. Rashad, on the other hand, has always had a gift for building and scaling systems—especially in marketing, digital communities, and operations. He founded T86 Marketing to help creators, influencers, and entrepreneurs mobilize their communities in ways that are both profitable and impactful.
Together, we saw an opportunity to merge those strengths—people, performance, and process. That’s how ventures like Jireh Wealth Partners were born along with are bread and butter companies (Fresh Talent Solutions & T86 Marketing): to equip families and business owners with wealth solutions that secure their future. Along the way, we’ve partnered on events, built communities, trained leaders, and mentored individuals who are looking to step into their next level.
The cool thing is we both have a sincere love for God and consider ourselves a kingdom couple building God’s culture while building business.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. Entrepreneurship has been anything but smooth it’s been faith, fire, and fight all at the same time. We’ve had $20K months where we thought, “Okay, we’ve finally arrived,” and then the very next month we were half-laughing, half-crying about going back to corporate just to keep the lights on.
One of the hardest seasons was when things dipped so low that Rashad had to start driving Uber. He pushed against it at first because when you’re building something of your own, that feels like going backwards. But here’s the thing ..right in the middle of that humbling moment, he met someone during a ride who ended up becoming one of our biggest clients. That ride literally changed the course of our business.
And then there are the lessons you only learn the hard way. We’ve had clients steal our ideas take the very blueprint we created for them—and then try to cut us out of the picture. Monique signed a $300K contract with a major coworking space, thought we were set, and then out of nowhere, it fell apart. The entire company not only had an entire tv series about them but they went bankrupt the next week (the day before the press release was set to announce our partnership) No warning, no heads up just gone. That one nearly broke us. Monique was devastated because it felt like the whole company crumbled overnight.
But here’s what we know: this life ain’t for the weak. Every setback forced us to decide fold, or fight for the vision God gave us. And every single time, we chose to rise. Those gut-wrenching lows shaped us just as much as the big wins, and they gave us the grit to keep pushing, keep building, and keep believing even when it didn’t make sense.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Both businesses belong to both of us but we are key persons on each. For instance Rashad – T86 Marketing At T86, we’re in the business of building communities that actually work. A lot of agencies can help you “get followers” or run ads, but what we specialize in is creating living, breathing ecosystems where people stay, engage, and invest. We’ve worked with everyone from influencers and course creators to organizations and nonprofits, helping them scale not just through marketing, but through community architecture, engagement systems, and monetization strategies.
What sets us apart is that we don’t just throw content at the wall and hope it sticks—we design experiences that build trust and belonging. We’re proud that T86 has helped brands launch movements, not just campaigns. From turning small online audiences into thriving paid membership communities, to building out systems that free up founders so they can focus on vision instead of logistics—that’s what we’re known for.
If there’s one thing I’d want readers to know, it’s this: the future of business is community. Whether you’re a creator, entrepreneur, or organization, we help you take your influence and build something sustainable and scalable around it.
Monique is key with Jireh Wealth Partners (JW Partners)
At Jireh Wealth Partners, we exist for one reason—helping families and business owners build wealth that outlives them. We’re not your traditional firm where insurance or retirement planning feels dry or intimidating. We specialize in making wealth-building accessible, relatable, and strategic, whether that’s through life insurance, annuities, retirement planning, debt resolution, credit coaching or business capital solutions.
What sets us apart is that we don’t lead with products—we lead with people. Every plan starts with understanding your story, your goals, and your legacy vision. We then design strategies—whether it’s rolling over a 401(k) into a Fixed Index Annuity, setting up IULs for long-term growth, or securing business funding through our 75+ lending partners—that align with where you’re headed, not just where you are. I had one client that trusted me with $50k of her hard earned money and I gaver the resources and blueprint on how to write her own book and get published.
I’m most proud of the fact that Jireh Wealth Partners is more than a firm; it’s a movement. Our clients tell us they feel empowered and educated after working with us, not just “sold to.” That matters, because wealth without understanding isn’t sustainable. What I’d want readers to know is this: it’s never too early or too late to protect your future. Whether you’re a family wanting financial security or a business owner seeking capital to scale, we’re here to help you build wisely, protect faithfully, and leave a legacy.
Any big plans?
For us, the future is about building with intention. We’ve both been through enough highs and lows to know that you can’t just chase every opportunity you have to focus on what creates lasting impact.
For Rashad, that means continuing to grow T86 into a hub where creators and organizations don’t just get marketing, but get a blueprint for building sustainable communities. We’re planning to double down on systems, automation, and scaling strategies so that the communities we help build actually live beyond the founder’s energy.
For Monique, the future is about Jireh Wealth Partners becoming a household name in wealth education and protection—especially for Black and Brown families and entrepreneurs. We’re looking forward to expanding our team of wealth specialists, serving more clients through our insurance and business capital offerings, and creating workshops and content that make financial planning approachable and empowering. We are constantly looking for more people to join us as well!
On a personal note, we’re planning for growth that feels good not just revenue goals, but alignment. We’re looking forward to raising our kids while showing them firsthand what it looks like to build something from the ground up. And yes, we still have those moments where we joke about going back to corporate—but the truth is, we’re committed to making our businesses the legacy that outlives us.
Lots of changes ahead. We’re scaling both sides community and wealth in ways that intersect, because we believe the future of influence and legacy is tied together. Communities create movements, and wealth sustains them. That’s what we’re building toward.
