Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronnie Beatty.
Hi Ronnie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Growing up in Charleston, WV which is a small city compared to Atlanta, I quickly realized I had to work twice as hard if I wanted to be somebody and to get someplace where I could make a name for myself. I had big dreams, first it was to be a professional basketball player, then it was to become a rapper. I know this sounds typical and that’s because it is when you are raised in this hip hop/ black culture. The world made it seem this is the thing to be if you want to be someone in this world and be successful. So after moving to Atlanta and chasing my dreams and working in studios, constantly networking and investing, I noticed these rappers have bloodlines of an advantage over anyone that comes to the city. You’d either need to be brought in by someone or you’d need to have a lot of money and that won’t guarantee anything. I was someone always trying to improve my skillset so I became an engineer to assist my music, then I started shooting my own videos, then I started doing green screen and photography, all to better my chances as an artist. Even with doing all of that, I still feel like I was offering superior art compared to my peers but in 2022 I made a shift. I was already doing YouTube videos and podcast but this podcast hit me and I decided to change direction and to take podcasting serious. That’s when I created the Created Players Podcast.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The struggles I ran into were always monetary and because I had a kid, now I have to two and limited family where I live, it makes everything harder as far as staying out networking and investing but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Obstacles are meant to be overcome, they are a part of growth and development and you can either run to them or run from them. I chose to have no fear to any objection nor obstacle, bring it on. You will have to keep learning in this business until you find out what works for you, then learn more and adjust and adapt after that. Nothing remains the same so why should you?

Nothing, transparency in key in this business, to be relatable you need others to relate and to understand and make them feel like they can be apart of this podcast and movement. I speak on everything from Religion to Politics to beliefs and to relationships. Nothing is off the table and that’s why a lot of people choose to sit at mines.
