Hi Shameka, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hii! My name is Shameka Moss. I am the owner of MMOB Hair; Mosses Miracle of Bundles. We are the miracle of bundles. I am I certified wig maker offer 100% raw Indian hair and wigs. Growing up I’ve always done my friends hair or help my mom with hers. My mom became sick in 2012 and on her last day she asked for me to do her hair. From that moment forward hair kept coming to me. People would ask if I do hair, I look like I do hair, etc.
2014 I devoted myself to hair. Paid my way through cosmetology school. While in school I became more infatuated with hair itself than the doing. 2015 I decided to go with Mayvenn to start my business in hair. Called Mekas Bombshell Hair. Though business was flowing, I didn’t enjoy having a middleman and being a seller for them. Though I was making sales not everyone was proud, and you know people are always wishing for your downfall! I stopped with Mayvenn.
Fast forward to 2020 the pandemic hit, everyone was attempting to becoming an entrepreneur, but I was losing my job at the time in panic. Being a single parent I put my trust in Jesus. From that moment forward he has kept me through the entire pandemic without a lack of anything. I remember having a night where I was talking to God asking what is my purpose here on earth. For we are all placed here for a reason, right? Hair came back to me but this time in a different way. I wanted God get the glory when it comes to my works because he has showed me what he can do during the pandemic when you have faith and believe.
2021 MMOB Hair became my revamp. MMOB stands for Mosses Miracle of Bundles. Cutting out the middleman, I did my research heavily on hair and different types of hair that is sold in the industry. YouTube was definitely my friend when it came to ways to test hair. After multiple trial and error and money down the drain. I decided before I did anything I would pray and wait for God to move. Most importantly keep quiet until it’s done. I learned when you move before God there would be something misinterpreted. That’s when the decision to offering Raw Indian Hair instead of virgin hair came about. Women in India offer their hair for blessings, and I’m blessed to be able to bless others with our miracle of bundles. Just as raw and real is the hair so is Jesus. Through my business, I offer raw Indian hair bundles and wigs. Our motto for our wigs are; Never factory made but always homemade! for each wig is constructed by me; each made with love using a sewing machine. Certified in 2022 as a wig maker. We will have Clip-ins coming soon! While I am offering hair extensions and wigs. I am also spreading God’s good news through my business. The world needs more love and more God. Romans 13:10 For love wins! What other way to spread love and the gospel by having his scripture and encouraging words available. It’s out of the box and makes us stand out from others. We are all imperfect and every day we have a chance to do better than the previous. I see it as even though a person is buying hair extensions, Clip-ins, or wigs. You never know what I person is dealing with and that encouraging word and scripture could be just what that person needed to keep going.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
My struggles along the way are with vendors. You have so many vendors selling hair but not truthful about the hair. You’ll be shock the different type of hair and fibers some vendors use in hair. Testing the hair is a process and not quick. I remember testing hair only for the vendors to switch up the hair when it’s time for a big order. Sales can be a struggle especially when people are use to the norms of virgin hair. However, I will tell you once you make that switch. It will be virgin hair who?!? 😆
To be honest it’s never a smooth road to owning a business. There’s times you want to question am I doing the right thing? Did I invest in the right things? There’s times you want to give up. There’s been tired nights, frustrated nights, and there’s been nights of crying. However, don’t give up! Keep going!

Offering 100% Raw Indian Hair and Wigs while spreading the gospel of Jesus and love. Which sets us apart from others. We are known for our bundles and wigs. Our hair is directly imported from India to America. Never processed nor any fillers.
Hair bundles come in natural textures and natural color 1B. 16in – 24in. Per request you can request longer.

All of our wigs are made on medical ventilated wig caps. These caps are great for they allow you to still get oxygen to your scalp and scratch it freely through the wig. Great for those with alopecia. Plus! You won’t feel hot! True to size.
Wigs come lace front; however, we offer u-part and headband wigs. Clip-ins are coming soon!
