Inspiring Conversations with Shane Gibson of Valuable Souls

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shane Gibson.

Hi Shane, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Creating and designing clothes helped me stay focused and centered, I’ve loved fashion since I was a child. My brand “Valuable Souls” is about surviving things that were meant to break you and every soul has value no matter what. Starting off it was hard balancing life, bills, helping my mother while she was down all while building my brand. I’ve stayed consistent and I also saw positive results like seeing a random person in my clothing and shipping to a state like North Dakota was a eye opener for me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Balancing my bills, with my brand and I had to learn not to spend the money I make from my business.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My brand is authentic and meaningful, I make clothes, mainly luxury streetwear but I won’t stop there. I’m known for my style but also my quality pieces, nothing is rushed everything has good material. I like to keep it real with my customers sometimes I ship next day but sometimes it might take a couple days, I’ve gotten great reviews about how fast I ship. I’m proud that I never gave up and I make people happy when they wear my clothes. DDG also reviewed my brand live on stream he liked it and so did the chat that was a major win for me! I want the readers to know, no matter what you soul has value and to never give up on yours dreams , keep pushing no matter how hard life gets!! I will be offering toddler sizes soon and we have plus sizes for anybody wondering.

What makes you happy?
Great question, bring around family and just enjoying the current moments we can’t get back. Also making my mom and dad proud, it wasn’t easy coming up and seeing them separate but a lot of things build character.
